Meanings

That which causes someone to stumble

    Examples

Romans 9:32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though they could by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone,

Romans 14:20 Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are clean, but they are evil for the person who eats and causes offense.
