How it’s used

Every occurrence, grouped by the words it is grammatically related to.

When two words share a role, as in “Paul and Barnabas said”, the verse appears under each, so a section’s counts can add up to more than the number of occurrences.

μετά metá · G3326 · with, in the company of, together with
Both עִם (ʻim, H5974) and μετά (metá, G3326) are prepositions primarily denoting accompaniment and association ("with," "amid"). The Aramaic preposition marks spatial proximity, association and directional relations (by, from, like, toward, with), while the Greek preposition likewise expresses accompaniment in the genitive and succession or transition in the accusative. Μετά is the standard Greek rendering of this Aramaic preposition when it expresses togetherness, presence with, or relational proximity.
