To give to drink23.35
The verb describes giving someone something to drink. Jesus's teaching on the sheep and the goats uses this term: “‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in’” (Matthew 25:35).
To water, to irrigate43.9
The same verb, applied to plants rather than people, describes watering or irrigating.
