Since scholars do not agree on the size of the bath, translations differ wildly on the capacity of the bronze Sea in 列王紀上 7:26: 80,000 liters (FRCL), 40,000 liters (GECL), 11,000 gallons (CEV), 10,000 gallons (GNT), and so. It is to be noted that 列王紀上 7:26 gives the capacity as 2,000 baths, while 歷代志下 4:5 has 3,000 baths. Translators should not try to harmonize these figures.
