성막의 벽을 이루는 틀과 성막 뜰을 둘러싼 기둥은 오목하게 홈을 판 금속 받침, 곧 장부 구멍에 세워져 안정되게 서 있었다. 성막 틀의 받침은 은으로, 바깥뜰 기둥의 받침은 놋으로 만들었다.
