甩石機弦

聖經中的器物

在一塊不大的長方形或橢圓形皮革或布料兩端繫上繩索，即製成甩石機弦。皮革或布料比人的手掌略小一點，繩索則大約是人手臂的長度。

用途

甩石機弦用來將石頭高速擲向目標。石頭放在皮革或布料形成的小袋內，投擲的人緊握兩根繩索的末端，並快速劃圈揮舞石頭，在算準的時刻放開其中一條繩索，石頭就會急速飛向目標。要用甩石機弦精準地擲中目標，需經長期練習。
