The Sin and Treachery of Judah
1耶和華說：「到那時，人必將猶大王的骸骨和他首領的骸骨、祭司的骸骨、先知的骸骨，並耶路撒冷居民的骸骨，都從墳墓中取出來，2拋散在日頭、月亮，和天上眾星之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的。這些骸骨不再收殮，不再葬埋，必在地面上成為糞土；3並且這惡族所剩下的民在我所趕他們到的各處，寧可揀死不揀生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」4你要對他們說，耶和華如此說：人跌倒，不再起來嗎？人轉去，不再轉來嗎？5這耶路撒冷的民，為何恆久背道呢？他們守定詭詐，不肯回頭。6我留心聽，聽見他們說不正直的話。無人悔改惡行，說：我做的是甚麼呢？他們各人轉奔己路，如馬直闖戰場。7空中的鸛鳥知道來去的定期；斑鳩燕子與白鶴也守候當來的時令；我的百姓卻不知道耶和華的法則。
1“At that time,” declares the LORD, “they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its leaders, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem from their graves. 2“They will spread them out to the sun, the moon, and to all the heavenly lights, which they have loved, which they have served, which they have followed, which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered nor buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground. 3“And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family, that remains in all the places to which I have driven them,” declares the LORD of armies. 4“You shall say to them, ‘This is what the LORD says:
“Do people fall and not get up?
Does one turn away and not repent? 5“Why has this people, Jerusalem,
Turned away in continual apostasy?
They hold on to deceit,
They refuse to return. 6“I have listened and heard,
They have spoken what is not right;
No one repented of his wickedness,
Saying, ‘What have I done?’
Everyone turned to his own course,
Like a horse charging into the battle. 7“Even the stork in the sky
Knows her seasons;
And the turtledove, the swallow, and the crane
Keep to the time of their migration;
But My people do not know
The judgment of the LORD.
“Do people fall and not get up?
Does one turn away and not repent? 5“Why has this people, Jerusalem,
Turned away in continual apostasy?
They hold on to deceit,
They refuse to return. 6“I have listened and heard,
They have spoken what is not right;
No one repented of his wickedness,
Saying, ‘What have I done?’
Everyone turned to his own course,
Like a horse charging into the battle. 7“Even the stork in the sky
Knows her seasons;
And the turtledove, the swallow, and the crane
Keep to the time of their migration;
But My people do not know
The judgment of the LORD.
8你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。9智慧人慚愧，驚惶，被擒拿；他們棄掉耶和華的話，心裏還有甚麼智慧呢？10所以我必將他們的妻子給別人，將他們的田地給別人為業；因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪，從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。11他們輕輕忽忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說：平安了！平安了！其實沒有平安。12他們行可憎的事知道慚愧嗎？不然，他們毫不慚愧，也不知羞恥。因此他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他們討罪的時候，他們必致跌倒。這是耶和華說的。
8“How can you say, ‘We are wise,
And the Law of the LORD is with us’?
But behold, the lying pen of the scribes
Has made it into a lie. 9“The wise men are put to shame,
They are dismayed and caught;
Behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD,
So what kind of wisdom do they have? 10“Therefore I will give their wives to others,
Their fields to new owners;
Because from the least even to the greatest
Everyone is greedy for gain;
From the prophet even to the priest,
Everyone practices deceit. 11“They have healed the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
But there is no peace. 12“Were they ashamed because of the abomination they had done?
They were not ashamed at all,
And they did not know how to be ashamed;
Therefore they will fall among those who fall;
At the time of their punishment they will collapse,”
Says the LORD.
And the Law of the LORD is with us’?
But behold, the lying pen of the scribes

13耶和華說：我必使他們全然滅絕；葡萄樹上必沒有葡萄，無花果樹上必沒有果子，葉子也必枯乾。我所賜給他們的，必離開他們過去。14我們為何靜坐不動呢？我們當聚集，進入堅固城，在那裏靜默不言；因為耶和華─我們的神使我們靜默不言，又將苦膽水給我們喝，都因我們得罪了耶和華。15我們指望平安，卻得不著好處；指望痊癒的時候，不料，受了驚惶。16聽見從但那裏敵人的馬噴鼻氣，他的壯馬發嘶聲，全地就都震動；因為他們來吞滅這地和其上所有的，吞滅這城與其中的居民。17看哪，我必使毒蛇到你們中間，是不服法術的，必咬你們。這是耶和華說的。
13“I will certainly snatch them away,” declares the LORD.
“There will be no grapes on the vine
And no figs on the fig tree,
And the leaf will wither;
And what I have given them will pass away.”’” 14Why are we sitting still?
Assemble yourselves, and let’s go into the fortified cities
And perish there,
For the LORD our God has doomed us
And given us poisoned water to drink,
Because we have sinned against the LORD. 15We waited for peace, but no good came;
For a time of healing, but behold, terror! 16From Dan there is heard the snorting of his horses;
At the sound of the neighing of his stallions
The whole land quakes;
For they come and devour the land and its fullness,
The city and its inhabitants. 17“For behold, I am sending serpents among you,
Vipers for which there is no charm;
And they will bite you,” declares the LORD.
“There will be no grapes on the vine
And no figs on the fig tree,
And the leaf will wither;
And what I have given them will pass away.”’” 14Why are we sitting still?
Assemble yourselves, and let’s go into the fortified cities
And perish there,
For the LORD our God has doomed us
And given us poisoned water to drink,
Because we have sinned against the LORD. 15We waited for peace, but no good came;
For a time of healing, but behold, terror! 16From Dan there is heard the snorting of his horses;
At the sound of the neighing of his stallions
The whole land quakes;
For they come and devour the land and its fullness,
The city and its inhabitants. 17“For behold, I am sending serpents among you,

18我有憂愁，願能自慰；我心在我裏面發昏。19聽啊，是我百姓的哀聲從極遠之地而來，說：耶和華不在錫安嗎？錫安的王不在其中麼？耶和華說：他們為甚麼以雕刻的偶像和外邦虛無的神惹我發怒呢？20麥秋已過，夏令已完，我們還未得救！21先知說：因我百姓的損傷，我也受了損傷。我哀痛，驚惶將我抓住。22在基列豈沒有乳香呢？在那裏豈沒有醫生呢？我百姓為何不得痊癒呢？
18My sorrow is beyond healing,
My heart is faint within me! 19Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land:
“Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not within her?”
“Why have they provoked Me with their carved images, with foreign idols?” 20“Harvest is past, summer is over,
And we are not saved.” 21I am broken over the brokenness of the daughter of my people.
I mourn, dismay has taken hold of me. 22Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then has not the health of the daughter of my people been restored?
My heart is faint within me! 19Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land:
“Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not within her?”
“Why have they provoked Me with their carved images, with foreign idols?” 20“Harvest is past, summer is over,
And we are not saved.” 21I am broken over the brokenness of the daughter of my people.
I mourn, dismay has taken hold of me. 22Is there no balm in Gilead?
