Lawsuits Discouraged
1你們中間有彼此相爭的事，怎敢在不義的人面前求審，不在聖徒面前求審呢。2豈不知聖徒要審判世界麼；若世界為你們所審，難道你們不配審判這最小的事麼。3豈不知我們要審判天使麼，何況今生的事呢。4既是這樣，你們若有今生的事當審判，是派教會所輕看的人審判麼。5我說這話，是要叫你們羞恥。難道你們中間沒有一個智慧人，能審斷弟兄們的事麼。6你們竟是弟兄與弟兄告狀，而且告 在不信主的人面前。
1Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? 2Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to form the smallest law courts? 3Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life? 4So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? 5I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you anyone wise who will be able to decide between his brothers and sisters, 6but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?
7你們彼此告狀，這已經是你們的大錯了；為甚麼不情願受欺呢；為甚麼不情願喫虧呢。8你們倒是欺壓人，虧負人，況且所欺壓所虧負的就是弟兄。
7Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather suffer the wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8On the contrary, you yourselves do wrong and defraud. And this to your brothers and sisters!
9你們豈不知，不義的人不能承受神的國麼。不要自欺；無論是淫亂的，拜偶像的，姦淫的，作孌童的，親男色的，10偷竊的，貪婪的，醉酒的，辱罵的，勒索的，都不能承受神的國。11你們中間也有人從前是這樣；但如今你們奉主耶穌基督的名，並藉著我們神的靈，已經洗淨，成聖稱義了。
9Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
The Body Is the Lord’s
12凡事我都可行；但不都有益處。凡事我都可行，但無論那一件，我總不受他的轄制。13食物是為肚腹，肚腹是為食物；但神要叫這兩樣都廢壞。身子不是為淫亂，乃是為主；主也是為身子；14並且神已經叫主復活，也要用自己的能力叫我們復活。15豈不知你們的身子是基督的肢體麼；我可以將基督的肢體作為娼妓的肢體麼；斷乎不可。16豈不知與娼妓聯合的，便是與他成為一體麼；因為主說，二人要成為一體。17但與主聯合的，便是與主成為一靈。18你們要逃避淫行。人所犯的，無論甚麼罪，都在身子以外；惟有行淫的，是得罪自己的身子。19豈不知你們的身子就是聖靈的殿麼；這聖靈是從神而來，住在你們裏頭的；並且你們不是自己的人；20因為你們是重價買來的；所以要在你們的身子上榮耀神。
12All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. 13Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, however God will do away with both of them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. 14Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power. 15Do you not know that your bodies are parts of Christ? Shall I then take away the parts of Christ and make them parts of a prostitute? Far from it! 16Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.” 17But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
