Sexual Immorality Rebuked
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and sexual immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, namely, that someone has his father’s wife. 2You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst.
1風聞在你們中間有淫亂的事；這樣的淫亂，連外邦人中也沒有，就是有人收了他的繼母。2你們還是自高自大，並不哀痛，把行這事的人從你們中間趕出去。
3For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present. 4In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, 5I have decided to turn such a person over to Satan for the destruction of his body, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
3我身子雖不在你們那裏，心卻在你們那裏，好像我親自與你們同在，已經判斷了行這事的人，4就是你們聚會的時候，我的心也同在，奉我們主耶穌的名，並用我們主耶穌的權能，5要把這樣的人交給撒但，敗壞他的肉體，使他的靈魂在主耶穌的日子可以得救。
6Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? 7Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. 8Therefore let’s celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
6你們這自誇是不好的；豈不知一點麵酵能使全團發起來麼。7你們既是無酵的麵，應當把舊酵除淨，好使你們成為新團；因為我們逾越節的羔羊基督，已經被殺獻祭了。8所以我們守這節不可用舊酵，也不可用惡毒或作陰毒邪惡的酵，只用誠實真正的無酵餅。
9I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people; 10I did not at all mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the greedy and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world. 11But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is a sexually immoral person, or a greedy person, or an idolater, or is verbally abusive, or habitually drunk, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a person. 12For what business of mine is it to judge outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? 13But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE EVIL PERSON FROM AMONG YOURSELVES.
9我先前寫信給你們說，不可與淫亂的人相交；10此話不是指這世上一概行淫亂的，或貪婪的，勒索的，或拜偶像的；若是這樣，你們除非離開世界方可；11但如今我寫信給你們說，若有稱為弟兄，是行淫亂的，或貪婪的，或拜偶像的，或辱罵的，或醉酒的，或勒索的；這樣的人不可與他相交；就是與他喫飯都不可。12因為審判教外的人與我何干；教內的人豈不是你們審判的麼；13至於外人有神審判他們；你們應當把那惡人從你們中間趕出去。
