צָלָה means to roast, as of the roasted meat Eli's sons demand instead of boiled meat in 1 Samuel 2:15, and the idol-maker who roasts meat over the coals of the same fire that shaped his idol in Isaiah 44:16 and 44:19.
Pray002004001009010
This domain's connection to צָלָה is not directly illustrated among the sampled citations, which show the word's sense of roasting meat rather than prayer, a sense this word carries in its separate, closely related Aramaic use elsewhere in the Old Testament.
