무교병

무교병은 발효로 반죽이 부풀기 전에 빨리 구워서 만든, 크래커처럼 얇은 떡이었다.

이스라엘 백성은 애굽에서 급히 나올 때, 반죽이 부풀 겨를도 없이 떡을 서둘러 구웠다. 이런 떡은 애굽에서 구속받은 일을 상징하게 되었고, 그 구속을 기념하는 유월절의 특별한 요소가 되었다. 어떤 제물에도 무교병이 들어갔다.
