띠, 천 띠
성경의 기물
띠는 대제사장이 긴 속옷 위로 허리에 여러 번 감은 긴 천 띠였다(긴 속옷, 셔츠 참조). 그의 동료 제사장들도 띠를 둘렀다. 에 따르면 대제사장의 띠는 네 가지 실로 수를 놓아 만들었다. 성경 이후의 유대 전승에 따르면 그 길이는 32규빗(약 16미터 또는 53피트)이었다. 전승이 길이를 과장했다 하더라도, 아마 묶기 전에 허리에 여러 번 감을 수 있을 만큼은 길었을 것이다. 에봇의 그림을 참조하라.
