線、繩、紗
聖經中的器物
將纖維在紡錘上旋轉扭繞，就可製成編織所用的線或紗線（參布料生產 (cloth manufacture)）。以這種方式製造的單股線不是特別結實，但是把許多條這種細股線交織在一起而製成的布料就非常結實，可做許多用途。另參繩、帶 (rope, cord)。
