线、绳、纱

圣经中的器物

将纤维在纺锤上旋转扭绕，就可制成编织所用的线或纱线（参布料生产 (cloth manufacture)）。以这种方式制造的单股线不是特别结实，但是把许多条这种细股线交织在一起而制成的布料就非常结实，可做许多用途。另参绳、带 (rope, cord)。
