Day of Judgment on Judah
1当犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚在位的时候，耶和华的话临到希西家的玄孙，亚玛利雅的曾孙，基大利的孙子，古示的儿子西番雅。
1The word of the LORD which came to Zephaniah son of Cushi, son of Gedaliah, son of Amariah, son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah son of Amon, king of Judah:
2耶和华说：我必从地上除灭万类。3我必除灭人和牲畜，与空中的鸟、海里的鱼，以及绊脚石和恶人；我必将人从地上剪除。这是耶和华说的。4我必伸手攻击犹大和耶路撒冷的一切居民，也必从这地方剪除所剩下的巴力，并基玛林的名和祭司，5与那些在房顶上敬拜天上万象的，并那些敬拜耶和华指着他起誓，又指着玛勒堪起誓的，6与那些转去不跟从耶和华的，和不寻求耶和华也不访问他的。
2“I will completely remove all things
From the face of the earth,” declares the LORD. 3“I will remove human and animal life;
I will remove the birds of the sky
And the fish of the sea,
And the ruins along with the wicked;
And I will eliminate mankind from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD. 4“So I will stretch out My hand against Judah
And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
And I will eliminate the remnant of Baal from this place,
And the names of the idolatrous priests along with the other priests. 5“And those who bow down on the housetops to the heavenly lights,
And those who bow down and swear to the LORD, but also swear by Milcom, 6And those who have turned back from following the LORD,
And those who have not sought the LORD nor inquired of Him.”
From the face of the earth,” declares the LORD. 3“I will remove human and animal life;
I will remove the birds of the sky
And the fish of the sea,
And the ruins along with the wicked;
And I will eliminate mankind from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD. 4“So I will stretch out My hand against Judah
And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
And I will eliminate the remnant of Baal from this place,
And the names of the idolatrous priests along with the other priests. 5“And those who bow down on the housetops to the heavenly lights,
And those who bow down and swear to the LORD, but also swear by Milcom, 6And those who have turned back from following the LORD,
And those who have not sought the LORD nor inquired of Him.”
7你要在主耶和华面前静默无声，因为耶和华的日子快到。耶和华已经预备祭物，将他的客分别为圣。8到了我—耶和华献祭的日子，必惩罚首领和王子，并一切穿外邦衣服的。9到那日，我必惩罚一切跳过门槛、将强暴和诡诈得来之物充满主人房屋的。10耶和华说：当那日，从鱼门必发出悲哀的声音，从二城发出哀号的声音，从山间发出大破裂的响声。11玛革提施的居民哪，你们要哀号，因为迦南的商民都灭亡了！凡搬运银子的都被剪除。12那时，我必用灯巡查耶路撒冷；我必惩罚那些如酒在渣滓上澄清的；他们心里说：耶和华必不降福，也不降祸。13他们的财宝必成为掠物；他们的房屋必变为荒场。他们必建造房屋，却不得住在其内；栽种葡萄园，却不得喝所出的酒。
7Be silent before the Lord GOD!
For the day of the LORD is near,
Because the LORD has prepared a sacrifice,
He has consecrated His guests. 8“Then it will come about on the day of the LORD’S sacrifice
That I will punish the princes, the king’s sons,
And all who clothe themselves with foreign garments. 9“And on that day I will punish all who leap on the temple threshold,
Who fill the house of their lord with violence and deceit. 10“And on that day,” declares the LORD,
“There will be the sound of a cry from the Fish Gate,
Wailing from the Second Quarter,
And a loud crash from the hills. 11“Wail, you inhabitants of the Mortar,
Because all the people of Canaan will be destroyed;
All who weigh out silver will be eliminated. 12“And it will come about at that time
That I will search Jerusalem with lamps,
And I will punish the people
Who are stagnant in spirit,
Who say in their hearts,
‘The LORD will not do good nor harm!’ 13“Their wealth will become plunder,
And their houses desolate;
Yes, they will build houses but not inhabit them,
And plant vineyards but not drink their wine.”

14耶和华的大日临近，临近而且甚快，乃是耶和华日子的风声；勇士必痛痛地哭号。15那日是忿怒的日子，是急难困苦的日子，是荒废凄凉的日子，是黑暗幽冥、密云乌黑的日子，16是吹角呐喊的日子，要攻击坚固城和高大的城楼。17我必使灾祸临到人身上，使他们行走如同瞎眼的，因为得罪了我。他们的血必倒出如灰尘；他们的肉必抛弃如粪土。18当耶和华发怒的日子，他们的金银不能救他们；他的忿怒如火必烧灭全地，毁灭这地的一切居民，而且大大毁灭。
14The great day of the LORD is near,
Near and coming very quickly;
Listen, the day of the LORD!
In it the warrior cries out bitterly. 15That day is a day of anger,
A day of trouble and distress,
A day of destruction and desolation,
A day of darkness and gloom,
A day of clouds and thick darkness, 16A day of trumpet and battle cry
Against the fortified cities
And the high corner towers. 17I will bring distress on mankind
So that they will walk like those who are blind,
Because they have sinned against the LORD;
And their blood will be poured out like dust,
And their flesh like dung. 18Neither their silver nor their gold
Will be able to save them
On the day of the LORD’S anger;
And all the earth will be devoured
By the fire of His jealousy,
For He will make a complete end,
Indeed a horrifying one,
Of all the inhabitants of the earth.
Near and coming very quickly;
Listen, the day of the LORD!
