The Fifth Trumpet: Shaft of the Abyss
1第五位天使吹號；我就看見一個星從天落到地上；有無底坑的鑰匙賜給他。2他開了無底坑，便有煙從坑裏往上冒，好像大火爐的煙；日頭和天空，都因這煙昏暗了。3有蝗蟲從煙中出來飛到地上；有能力賜給他們，好像地上蠍子的能力一樣。4並且吩咐他們說，不可傷害地上的草，和各樣青物，並一切樹木，惟獨要傷害額上沒有神印記的人。5但不許蝗蟲害死他們，只叫他們受痛苦五個月；這痛苦就像蠍子螫人的痛苦一樣。6在那些日子，人要求死，決不得死；願意死，死卻遠避他們。
1Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key to the shaft of the abyss was given to him. 2He opened the shaft of the abyss, and smoke ascended out of the shaft like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened from the smoke of the shaft. 3Then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5And they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a person. 6And in those days people will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death will flee from them!
7蝗蟲的形狀，好像豫備出戰的馬一樣，頭上戴的好像金冠冕，臉面好像男人的臉面。8頭髮像女人的頭髮，牙齒像獅子的牙齒。9胸前有甲，好像鐵甲；他們翅膀的聲音，好像許多車馬奔跑上陣的聲音。10有尾巴像蠍子；尾巴上的毒鉤能傷人五個月。11有無底坑的使者作他們的王；按著希伯來話，名叫亞巴頓，希利尼話，名叫亞玻倫。
7The appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads appeared to be crowns like gold, and their faces were like human faces. 8They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions. 9They had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle. 10They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt people for five months. 11They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon.
12第一樣災禍過去了，還有兩樣災禍要來。
12The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still coming after these things.
The Sixth Trumpet: Army from the East
13第六位天使吹號，我就聽見有聲音，從神面前金壇的四角出來，14吩咐那吹號的第六位天使，說，把那捆綁在伯拉大河的四個使者釋放了。15那四個使者就被釋放；他們原是豫備好了，到某年某月某日某時，要殺人的三分之一。16馬軍有二萬萬；他們的數目我聽見了。17我在異象中看見那些馬和騎馬的，騎馬的胸前有甲如火，與紫瑪瑙，並硫磺；馬的頭好像獅子頭，有火，有煙，有硫磺，從馬的口中出來。18口中所出來的火，與煙，並硫磺，這三樣災殺了人的三分之一。19這馬的能力，是在口裏，和尾巴上；因這尾巴像蛇，並且有頭用以害人。
13Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. 16The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17And this is how I saw in my vision the horses and those who sat on them: the riders had breastplates the color of fire, of hyacinth, and of brimstone; and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and brimstone. 18A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire, the smoke, and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm.
20其餘未曾被這些災所殺的人，仍舊不悔改自己手所作的，還是去拜鬼魔，和那些不能看，不能聽，不能走，金，銀，銅，木，石，的偶像。21又不悔改他們那些凶殺，邪術，姦淫，偷竊的事。
20The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands so as not to worship demons and the idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21and they did not repent of their murders, nor of their witchcraft, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.
