The Angel and the Little Scroll
1我又看见另有一位大力的天使从天降下，披着云彩，头上有虹，脸面像日头，两脚像火柱。2他手里拿着小书卷，是展开的。他右脚踏海，左脚踏地，3大声呼喊，好像狮子吼叫。呼喊完了，就有七雷发声。4七雷发声之后，我正要写出来，就听见从天上有声音说：「七雷所说的，你要封上，不可写出来。」5我所看见的那踏海踏地的天使向天举起右手来，6指着那创造天和天上之物，地和地上之物，海和海中之物，直活到永永远远的，起誓说：「不再有时日了或译：不再耽延了。」7但在第七位天使吹号发声的时候，神的奥秘就成全了，正如神所传给他仆人众先知的佳音。
1I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was on his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire; 2and he had in his hand a little scroll, which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; 3and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices. 4When the seven peals of thunder had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken, and do not write them.” 5Then the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven, 6and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will no longer be a delay, 7but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He announced to His servants the prophets.
8我先前从天上所听见的那声音又吩咐我说：「你去，把那踏海踏地之天使手中展开的小书卷取过来。」9我就走到天使那里，对他说：「请你把小书卷给我。」他对我说：「你拿着吃尽了，便叫你肚子发苦，然而在你口中要甜如蜜。」10我从天使手中把小书卷接过来，吃尽了，在我口中果然甜如蜜，吃了以后，肚子觉得发苦了。11天使原文是他们对我说：「你必指着多民、多国、多方、多王再说预言。」
8Then the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard again speaking with me, and saying, “Go, take the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.” 9And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, “Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.” 10I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. 11And they said to me, “You must prophesy again concerning many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
