1Aku mau berseru-seru dengan nyaring kepada Allah, dengan nyaring kepada Allah, supaya Ia mendengarkan aku. 2Pada hari kesusahanku aku mencari Tuhan; malam-malam tanganku terulur dan tidak menjadi lesu, jiwaku enggan dihiburkan. 3Apabila aku mengingat Allah, maka aku mengerang, apabila aku merenung, makin lemah lesulah semangatku. Sela 4Engkau membuat mataku tetap terbuka; aku gelisah, sehingga tidak dapat berkata-kata. 5Aku memikir-mikir hari-hari zaman purbakala, tahun-tahun zaman dahulu aku ingat. 6Aku sebut-sebut pada waktu malam dalam hatiku, aku merenung, dan rohku mencari-cari:
1My voice rises to God, and I will cry aloud;
My voice rises to God, and He will listen to me. 2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
In the night my hand was stretched out and did not grow weary;
My soul refused to be comforted. 3When I remember God, then I am restless;
When I sigh, then my spirit feels weak.
Selah 4You have held my eyelids open;
I am so troubled that I cannot speak. 5I have considered the days of old,
The years of long ago. 6I will remember my song in the night;
I will meditate with my heart,
And my spirit ponders:
My voice rises to God, and He will listen to me. 2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
In the night my hand was stretched out and did not grow weary;

7"Untuk selamanyakah Tuhan menolak dan tidak kembali bermurah hati lagi ? 8Sudah lenyapkah untuk seterusnya kasih setia-Nya, telah berakhirkah janji itu berlaku turun-temurun ? 9Sudah lupakah Allah menaruh kasihan, atau ditutup-Nyakah rahmat-Nya karena murka-Nya ?" Sela 10Maka kataku: "Inilah yang menikam hatiku, bahwa tangan kanan Yang Mahatinggi berubah."

Has His promise come to an end forever? 9Has God forgotten to be gracious,
Or has He in anger withdrawn His compassion?

That the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

11Aku hendak mengingat perbuatan-perbuatan TUHAN, ya, aku hendak mengingat keajaiban-keajaiban-Mu dari zaman purbakala. 12Aku hendak menyebut-nyebut segala pekerjaan-Mu, dan merenungkan perbuatan-perbuatan-Mu. 13Ya Allah, jalan-Mu adalah kudus ! Allah manakah yang begitu besar seperti Allah kami? 14Engkaulah Allah yang melakukan keajaiban; Engkau telah menyatakan kuasa-Mu di antara bangsa-bangsa. 15Dengan lengan-Mu Engkau telah menebus umat-Mu, bani Yakub dan bani Yusuf. 11I shall remember the deeds of the LORD;
I will certainly remember Your wonders of old. 12I will meditate on all Your work,
And on Your deeds with thanksgiving. 13Your way, God, is holy;
What god is great like our God? 14You are the God who works wonders;
You have made known Your strength among the peoples. 15By Your power You have redeemed Your people,
The sons of Jacob and Joseph.

16Air telah melihat Engkau, ya Allah, air telah melihat Engkau, lalu menjadi gentar, bahkan samudera raya gemetar. 17Awan-awan mencurahkan air, awan-gemawan bergemuruh, bahkan anak-anak panah-Mu beterbangan. 18Deru guntur-Mu menggelinding, kilat-kilat menerangi dunia, bumi gemetar dan bergoncang. 19Melalui laut jalan-Mu dan lorong-Mu melalui muka air yang luas, tetapi jejak-Mu tidak kelihatan. 20Engkau telah menuntun umat-Mu seperti kawanan domba dengan perantaraan Musa dan Harun.

The ocean depths also trembled. 17The clouds poured out water;
The skies sounded out;
Your arrows flashed here and there. 18The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind;
The lightning lit up the world;
The earth trembled and shook. 19Your way was in the sea
And Your paths in the mighty waters,
And Your footprints were not known. 20You led Your people like a flock
By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
