A Psalm of Solomon.
1Ya Allah, berikanlah hukum-Mu kepada raja dan keadilan-Mu kepada putera raja ! 2Kiranya ia mengadili umat-Mu dengan keadilan dan orang-orang-Mu yang tertindas dengan hukum ! 3Kiranya gunung-gunung membawa damai sejahtera bagi bangsa, dan bukit-bukit membawa kebenaran ! 4Kiranya ia memberi keadilan kepada orang-orang yang tertindas dari bangsa itu, menolong orang-orang miskin, tetapi meremukkan pemeras-pemeras !
1Give the king Your judgments, God,
And Your righteousness to the king’s son. 2May he judge Your people with righteousness
And Your afflicted with justice. 3May the mountains bring peace to the people,
And the hills, in righteousness. 4May he vindicate the afflicted of the people,
Save the children of the needy,
And crush the oppressor.

5Kiranya lanjut umurnya selama ada matahari, dan selama ada bulan, turun-temurun ! 6Kiranya ia seperti hujan yang turun ke atas padang rumput, seperti dirus hujan yang menggenangi bumi ! 7Kiranya keadilan berkembang dalam zamannya dan damai sejahtera berlimpah, sampai tidak ada lagi bulan !

And as long as the moon shines, throughout all generations. 6May he come down like rain upon the mown grass,
Like showers that water the earth. 7May the righteous flourish in his days,
As well as an abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

8Kiranya ia memerintah dari laut ke laut, dari sungai Efrat sampai ke ujung bumi ! 9Kiranya penghuni padang belantara berlutut di depannya, dan musuh-musuhnya menjilat debu; 10kiranya raja-raja dari Tarsis dan pulau-pulau membawa persembahan-persembahan; kiranya raja-raja dari Syeba dan Seba menyampaikan upeti ! 11Kiranya semua raja sujud menyembah kepadanya, dan segala bangsa menjadi hambanya !
8May he also rule from sea to sea,
And from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth. 9May the nomads of the desert bow before him,
And his enemies lick the dust. 10May the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring gifts;
May the kings of Sheba and Seba offer tributes. 11And may all kings bow down before him,
All nations serve him.

12Sebab ia akan melepaskan orang miskin yang berteriak minta tolong, orang yang tertindas, dan orang yang tidak punya penolong; 13ia akan sayang kepada orang lemah dan orang miskin, ia akan menyelamatkan nyawa orang miskin. 14Ia akan menebus nyawa mereka dari penindasan dan kekerasan, darah mereka mahal di matanya. 15Hiduplah ia! Kiranya dipersembahkan kepadanya emas Syeba ! Kiranya ia didoakan senantiasa, dan diberkati sepanjang hari !
12For he will save the needy when he cries for help,
The afflicted also, and him who has no helper. 13He will have compassion on the poor and needy,
And he will save the lives of the needy. 14He will rescue their life from oppression and violence,
And their blood will be precious in his sight; 15So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him;
And they are to pray for him continually;
They are to bless him all day long.

16Biarlah tanaman gandum berlimpah-limpah di negeri, bergelombang di puncak pegunungan; biarlah buahnya mekar bagaikan Libanon, bulir-bulirnya berkembang bagaikan rumput di bumi. 17Biarlah namanya tetap selama-lamanya, kiranya namanya semakin dikenal selama ada matahari. Kiranya segala bangsa saling memberkati dengan namanya, dan menyebut dia berbahagia.

May his name produce descendants as long as the sun shines;
And may people wish blessings on themselves by him;

18Terpujilah TUHAN, Allah Israel, yang melakukan perbuatan yang ajaib seorang diri ! 19Dan terpujilah kiranya nama-Nya yang mulia selama-lamanya, dan kiranya kemuliaan-Nya memenuhi seluruh bumi. Amin, ya amin.
