For the music director; on stringed instruments. A Maskil of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is David not keeping himself hidden among us?”
西弗人來對掃羅說：大衛豈不是在我們那裏藏身嗎？那時，大衛作這訓誨詩，交與伶長。用絲弦的樂器。
1Save me, God, by Your name,
And vindicate me by Your power. 2Hear my prayer, God;
Listen to the words of my mouth. 3For strangers have risen against me
And violent men have sought my life;
They have not set God before them.
