1우리가 바벨론의 여러 강변 거기 앉아서 시온을 기억하며 울었도다 2그 중의 버드나무에 우리가 우리의 수금을 걸었나니 3이는 우리를 사로잡은 자가 거기서 우리에게 노래를 청하며 우리를 황폐케 한 자가 기쁨을 청하고 자기들을 위하여 시온 노래 중 하나를 노래하라 함이로다
1By the rivers of Babylon,
There we sat down and wept,
When we remembered Zion. 2Upon the willows in the midst of it
We hung our harps. 3For there our captors demanded of us songs,
And our tormentors, jubilation, saying,
“Sing for us one of the songs of Zion!”
