Duties of the Kohathites
1여호와께서 또 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대 2레위 자손 중에서 고핫 자손을 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 총계할지니 3곧 삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막의 일을 하기 위하여 그 역사에 참가할 만한 모든 자를 계수하라 4고핫 자손의 회막 안 지성물에 대하여 할 일은 이러하니라
1Then the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2“Take a census of the descendants of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ households, 3from thirty years old and upward, even to fifty years old, everyone who can enter the service of ministry to do work in the tent of meeting. 4“This is the work of the descendants of Kohath in the tent of meeting, concerning the most holy things.
5행진할 때에 아론과 그 아들들이 들어가서 간 막는 장을 걷어 증거궤를 덮고 6그 위에 해달의 가죽으로 덮고 그 위에 순청색 보자기를 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고 7또 진설병의 상에 청색 보자기를 펴고 대접들과 숟가락들과 주발들과 붓는 잔들을 그 위에 두고 또 항상 진설하는 떡을 그 위에 두고 8홍색 보자기를 그 위에 펴고 그것을 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮은후에 그 채를 꿰고 9또 청색 보자기를 취하여 등대와 그 등잔들과 그 불집게들과 불똥 그릇들과 그 쓰는바 모든 기름 그릇을 덮고 10등대와 그 모든 기구를 해달의 가죽 덮개 안에 넣어 메는 틀위에 두고 11또 금단 위에 청색 보자기를 펴고 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮고 그 채를 꿰고 12또 성소에서 봉사하는데 쓰는 모든 기명을 취하여 청색 보자기에 싸서 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮어 메는 틀 위에 두고 13또 단의 재를 버리고 그 단 위에 자색 보자기를 펴고 14봉사하는 데 쓰는 모든 기구 곧 불 옮기는 그릇들과 고기 갈고리들과 부삽들과 대야들과 단의 모든 기구를 두고 해달의 가죽 덮개를 그 위에 덮고 그 채를 꿸 것이며 15행진할 때에 아론과 그 아들들이 성소와 성소의 모든 기구 덮기를 필하거든 고핫 자손이 와서 멜 것이니라 그러나 성물은 만지지 말지니 죽을까 하노라 회막 물건 중에서 이것들은 고핫 자손이 멜 것이며
5“When the camp sets out, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the veil of the curtain, and cover the ark of the testimony with it; 6and they shall place a covering of fine leather on it, and spread over it a cloth of pure violet, and insert its carrying poles. 7“Over the table of the bread of the Presence they shall also spread a cloth of violet and put on it the dishes, the pans, the sacrificial bowls, and the jugs for the drink offering; and the continual bread shall be on it. 8“And they shall spread over them a cloth of scarlet material, and cover the same with a covering of fine leather, and they shall insert its carrying poles. 9“Then they shall take a violet cloth and cover the lampstand for the light, along with its lamps, its tongs, its trays, and all its oil containers, by which they attend to it; 10and they shall put it and all its utensils in a covering of fine leather, and put it on the carrying bars. 11“Over the golden altar they shall spread a violet cloth, and cover it with a covering of fine leather, and they shall insert its carrying poles; 12and they shall take all the utensils of service, with which they serve in the sanctuary, and put them in a violet cloth and cover them with a covering of fine leather, and put them on the carrying bars. 13“Then they shall clean away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth over it. 14“They shall also put on it all its utensils by which they serve in connection with it: the firepans, the forks, shovels, and the basins, all the utensils of the altar; and they shall spread a cover of fine leather over it and insert its carrying poles. 15“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy objects and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set out, after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them by the poles, so that they will not touch the holy objects and die. These are the things in the tent of meeting that the sons of Kohath are to carry.
16제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살의 맡을 것은 등유와 분향할 향품과 항상 드리는 소제물과 관유며 또 장막의 전체와 그 중에 있는 모든 것과 성소와 그 모든 기구니라
16“Now the responsibility of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the continual grain offering, and the anointing oil—the responsibility of all the tabernacle and everything that is in it, with the sanctuary and its furnishings.”
17여호와께서 또 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대 18너희는 고핫 족속의 지파를 레위인 중에서 끊어지게 말지니 19그들이 지성물에 접근할 때에 그 생명을 보존하고 죽지 않게 하기 위하여 너희는 이같이 하여 아론과 그 아들들이 들어가서 각 사람에게 그 할 일과 그 멜 것을 지휘할지니라 20그들은 잠시라도 들어가서 성소를 보지 말 것은 죽을까 함이니라
17Then the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 18“Do not let the tribe of the families of the Kohathites be eliminated from among the Levites. 19“Rather, do this for them so that they will live and not die when they approach the most holy objects: Aaron and his sons shall go in and assign each of them to his work and to his load; 20but they shall not come in to see the holy objects even for a moment, or they will die.”
Duties of the Gershonites
21여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대 22게르손 자손도 그 종족과 가족을 따라 총계하되 23삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자를 계수하라 24게르손 가족의 할 일과 멜 것은 이러하니 25곧 그들은 성막의 앙장들과 회막과 그 덮개와 그 위의 해달의 가죽 덮개와 회막 문장을 메이며 26뜰의 휘장과 및 성막과 단 사면에 있는 뜰의 문장과 그 줄들과 그것에 사용하는 모든 기구를 메이며 이 모든 것을 어떻게 맡아 처리할 것이라 27게르손 자손은 그 모든 일 곧 멜 것과 처리할 것에 아론과 그 아들들의 명대로 할 것이니 너희는 그들의 멜 짐을 그들에게 맡길 것이니라 28게르손 자손의 가족들이 회막에서 할 일이 이러하며 그들의 직무는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말이 감독할지니라
21Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 22“Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ households, by their families; 23from thirty years old and upward to fifty years old you shall count them: all who can enter to perform service, to do the work in the tent of meeting. 24“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in carrying: 25they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the tent of meeting with its covering and the covering of fine leather that is on top of it, and the curtain for the entrance of the tent of meeting, 26and the curtains of the courtyard, the curtain for the entrance of the gate of the courtyard that is around the tabernacle and the altar, and their ropes and all the equipment for their service; and everything that is to be done by them, they shall perform. 27“All the service of the sons of the Gershonites, that is, all their loads and all their work, shall be performed at the command of Aaron and his sons; and you shall assign to them as a duty all their loads. 28“This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting; and their duties shall be under the direction of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
Duties of the Merarites
29너는 므라리 자손도 그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수하되 30삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할 만한 모든 자를 계수하라 31그들이 직무를 따라 회막에서 할 모든 일 곧 그 멜 것이 이러하니 곧 장막의 널판들과 그 띠들과 그 기둥들과 그 받침들과 32뜰 사면 기둥들과 그 받침들과 그 말뚝들과 그 줄들과 그 모든 기구들과 무릇 그것에 쓰는 것이라 너희는 그들의 맡아 멜 모든 기구의 명목을 지정하라 33이는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말의 수하에 있을 므라리 자손의 가족들이 그 모든 사무대로 회막에서 행할 일이니라
29“As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ households; 30from thirty years old and upward, even to fifty years old, you shall count them, everyone who can enter the service to do the work of the tent of meeting. 31“Now this is the duty of their loads, for all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, its bars, its pillars, and its bases, 32and the pillars around the courtyard and their bases, their pegs, and their ropes, with all their equipment and with all their service; and you shall assign by names of the men the items that each is to carry. 33“This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the tent of meeting, under the direction of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”
34모세와 아론과 회중의 족장들이 고핫 자손들을 그 가족과 종족대로 계수하니 35삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할 만한 모든 자 36곧 그 가족대로 계수함을 입은 자가 이천칠백오십이니 37이는 모세와 아론이 여호와께서 모세로 명하신 대로 회막에서 종사하는 고핫인의 모든 가족 중 계수한 자니라
34So Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families and by their fathers’ households, 35from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who could enter the service for work in the tent of meeting. 36Their numbered men by their families were 2,750. 37These were the numbered men of the Kohathite families, everyone who was serving in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD through Moses.
38게르손 자손의 그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자는 39삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할 만한 모든 자라 40그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자가 이천육백삼십 명이니 41이는 모세와 아론이 여호와의 명대로 회막에서 종사하는 게르손 자손의 모든 가족 중 계수한 자니라
38And the numbered men of the sons of Gershon by their families and by their fathers’ households, 39from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who could enter the service for work in the tent of meeting— 40their numbered men by their families, by their fathers’ households, were 2,630. 41These were the numbered men of the families of the sons of Gershon, everyone who was serving in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD.
42므라리 자손의 가족 중 그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자는 43삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자라 44그 가족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자가 삼천이백 명이니 45이는 모세와 아론이 여호와께서 모세로 명하신 대로 므라리 자손들의 가족 중 계수한 자니라
42And the numbered men of the families of the sons of Merari by their families, by their fathers’ households, 43from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who could enter the service for work in the tent of meeting— 44their numbered men by their families were 3,200. 45These were the numbered men of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD through Moses.
46모세와 아론과 이스라엘 족장들이 레위인을 그 가족과 종족대로 다 계수하니 47삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막 봉사와 메는 일에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자 48곧 그 계수함을 입은 자가 팔천오백팔십 명이라 49그들이 그 할 일과 멜 일을 따라 모세에게 계수함을 입었으되 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 그들이 계수함을 입었더라
46All the numbered men of the Levites, whom Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of Israel counted, by their families and by their fathers’ households, 47from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who could enter to do the work of service and the work of carrying in the tent of meeting— 48their numbered men were 8,580. 49According to the commandment of the LORD through Moses, they were counted, everyone by his serving or carrying; so these were his numbered men, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
