Lord of the Sabbath
1那时，耶稣在安息日从麦地经过。他的门徒饿了，就掐起麦穗来吃。2法利赛人看见，就对耶稣说：「看哪，你的门徒做安息日不可做的事了！」3耶稣对他们说：「经上记着大卫和跟从他的人饥饿之时所做的事，你们没有念过吗？4他怎么进了神的殿，吃了陈设饼，这饼不是他和跟从他的人可以吃得，惟独祭司才可以吃。5再者，律法上所记的，当安息日，祭司在殿里犯了安息日还是没有罪，你们没有念过吗？6但我告诉你们，在这里有一人比殿更大。7『我喜爱怜恤，不喜爱祭祀。』你们若明白这话的意思，就不将无罪的当作有罪的了。8因为人子是安息日的主。」
1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat. 2Now when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath!” 3But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions— 4how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone? 5“Or have you not read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple violate the Sabbath, and yet are innocent? 6“But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. 7“But if you had known what this means: ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, RATHER THAN SACRIFICE,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. 8“For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

9Departing from there, He went into their synagogue. 10And a man was there whose hand was withered. And they questioned Jesus, asking, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might bring charges against Him. 11But He said to them, “What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out? 12“How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” 13Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other. 14But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.
15耶稣知道了，就离开那里，有许多人跟着他。他把其中有病的人都治好了；16又嘱咐他们，不要给他传名。17这是要应验先知以赛亚的话，说：18看哪！我的仆人，我所拣选、所亲爱、心里所喜悦的，我要将我的灵赐给他；他必将公理传给外邦。19他不争竞，不喧嚷；街上也没有人听见他的声音。20压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将残的灯火，他不吹灭；等他施行公理，叫公理得胜。21外邦人都要仰望他的名。
15But Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and He healed them all, 16and warned them not to tell who He was. 17This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled: 18“BEHOLD, MY SERVANT WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN;
MY BELOVED IN WHOM MY SOUL DELIGHTS;
I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT UPON HIM,
AND HE WILL PROCLAIM JUSTICE TO THE GENTILES. 19“HE WILL NOT QUARREL, NOR CRY OUT;
NOR WILL ANYONE HEAR HIS VOICE IN THE STREETS. 20“A BENT REED HE WILL NOT BREAK OFF,
AND A DIMLY BURNING WICK HE WILL NOT EXTINGUISH,
UNTIL HE LEADS JUSTICE TO VICTORY. 21“AND IN HIS NAME THE GENTILES WILL HOPE.”
MY BELOVED IN WHOM MY SOUL DELIGHTS;

The Pharisees Rebuked
22当下，有人将一个被鬼附着、又瞎又哑的人带到耶稣那里，耶稣就医治他，甚至那哑巴又能说话，又能看见。23众人都惊奇，说：「这不是大卫的子孙吗？」24但法利赛人听见，就说：「这个人赶鬼，无非是靠着鬼王别西卜啊。」
22Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and unable to speak was brought to Jesus, and He healed him so that the man who was unable to speak talked and could see. 23And all the crowds were amazed and were saying, “This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?” 24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”
The Unpardonable Sin
25耶稣知道他们的意念，就对他们说：「凡一国自相纷争，就成为荒场；一城一家自相纷争，必站立不住；26若撒但赶逐撒但，就是自相纷争，他的国怎能站得住呢？27我若靠着别西卜赶鬼，你们的子弟赶鬼又靠着谁呢？这样，他们就要断定你们的是非。28我若靠着神的灵赶鬼，这就是神的国临到你们了。29人怎能进壮士家里，抢夺他的家具呢？除非先捆住那壮士，才可以抢夺他的家财。30不与我相合的，就是敌我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。」
25And knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and no city or house divided against itself will stand. 26“And if Satan is casting out Satan, he has become divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27“And if by Beelzebul I cast out the demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore, they will be your judges. 28“But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29“Or, how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first ties up the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30“The one who is not with Me is against Me; and the one who does not gather with Me scatters.
31所以我告诉你们：「人一切的罪和亵渎的话都可得赦免，惟独亵渎圣灵，总不得赦免。32凡说话干犯人子的，还可得赦免；惟独说话干犯圣灵的，今世来世总不得赦免。」
31“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. 32“And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
Words Reveal Character
33「你们或以为树好，果子也好；树坏，果子也坏；因为看果子就可以知道树。34毒蛇的种类！你们既是恶人，怎能说出好话来呢？因为心里所充满的，口里就说出来。35善人从他心里所存的善就发出善来；恶人从他心里所存的恶就发出恶来。36我又告诉你们，凡人所说的闲话，当审判的日子，必要句句供出来；37因为要凭你的话定你为义，也要凭你的话定你有罪。」
33“Either assume the tree to be good as well as its fruit good, or assume the tree to be bad as well as its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. 34“You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, express any good things? For the mouth speaks from that which fills the heart. 35“The good person brings out of his good treasure good things; and the evil person brings out of his evil treasure evil things. 36“But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment. 37“For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
The Desire for Signs
38当时，有几个文士和法利赛人对耶稣说：「夫子，我们愿意你显个神迹给我们看。」39耶稣回答说：「一个邪恶淫乱的世代求看神迹，除了先知约拿的神迹以外，再没有神迹给他们看。40约拿三日三夜在大鱼肚腹中，人子也要这样三日三夜在地里头。41当审判的时候，尼尼微人要起来定这世代的罪，因为尼尼微人听了约拿所传的就悔改了。看哪，在这里有一人比约拿更大！42当审判的时候，南方的女王要起来定这世代的罪；因为她从地极而来，要听所罗门的智慧话。看哪，在这里有一人比所罗门更大！」
38Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” 39But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet; 40for just as JONAH WAS IN THE STOMACH OF THE SEA MONSTER FOR THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. 41“The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment, and will condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. 42“The Queen of the South will rise up with this generation at the judgment and will condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.
43「污鬼离了人身，就在无水之地过来过去，寻求安歇之处，却寻不着。44于是说：『我要回到我所出来的屋里去。』到了，就看见里面空闲，打扫干净，修饰好了，45便去另带了七个比自己更恶的鬼来，都进去住在那里。那人末后的景况比先前更不好了。这邪恶的世代也要如此。」
43“Now when the unclean spirit comes out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it. 44“Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came’; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order. 45“Then it goes and brings along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they come in and live there; and the last condition of that person becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”
Changed Relationships
46耶稣还对众人说话的时候，不料他母亲和他弟兄站在外边，要与他说话。47有人告诉他说：「看哪，你母亲和你弟兄站在外边，要与你说话。」48他却回答那人说：「谁是我的母亲？谁是我的弟兄？」49就伸手指着门徒，说：「看哪，我的母亲，我的弟兄。50凡遵行我天父旨意的人，就是我的弟兄姊妹和母亲了。」
46While He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. 47[Someone said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak to You.”] 48But Jesus replied to the one who was telling Him and said, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?” 49And extending His hand toward His disciples, He said, “Behold: My mother and My brothers! 50“For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother.”
