The Resurrection
1七日的头一日，黎明的时候，那些妇女带着所预备的香料来到坟墓前，2看见石头已经从坟墓滚开了，3她们就进去，只是不见主耶稣的身体。4正在猜疑之间，忽然有两个人站在旁边，衣服放光。5妇女们惊怕，将脸伏地。那两个人就对她们说：「为什么在死人中找活人呢？6他不在这里，已经复活了。当记念他还在加利利的时候怎样告诉你们，7说：『人子必须被交在罪人手里，钉在十字架上，第三日复活。』」8她们就想起耶稣的话来，9便从坟墓那里回去，把这一切的事告诉十一个使徒和其余的人。10那告诉使徒的就是抹大拉的马利亚和约亚拿，并雅各的母亲马利亚，还有与她们在一处的妇女。11她们这些话，使徒以为是胡言，就不相信。12彼得起来，跑到坟墓前，低头往里看，见细麻布独在一处，就回去了，心里希奇所成的事。
1But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in gleaming clothing; 5and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why are you seeking the living One among the dead? 6“He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.” 8And they remembered His words, 9and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest. 10Now these women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to the apostles. 11But these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe the women. 12Nevertheless, Peter got up and ran to the tomb; and when he stooped and looked in, he saw the linen wrappings only; and he went away to his home, marveling at what had happened.
The Road to Emmaus
13正当那日，门徒中有两个人往一个村子去；这村子名叫以马忤斯，离耶路撒冷约有二十五里。14他们彼此谈论所遇见的这一切事。15正谈论相问的时候，耶稣亲自就近他们，和他们同行；16只是他们的眼睛迷糊了，不认识他。17耶稣对他们说：「你们走路彼此谈论的是什么事呢？」他们就站住，脸上带着愁容。18二人中有一个名叫革流巴的回答说：「你在耶路撒冷作客，还不知道这几天在那里所出的事吗？」19耶稣说：「什么事呢？」他们说：「就是拿撒勒人耶稣的事。他是个先知，在神和众百姓面前，说话行事都有大能。20祭司长和我们的官府竟把他解去，定了死罪，钉在十字架上。21但我们素来所盼望、要赎以色列民的就是他！不但如此，而且这事成就，现在已经三天了。22再者，我们中间有几个妇女使我们惊奇；她们清早到了坟墓那里，23不见他的身体，就回来告诉我们，说看见了天使显现，说他活了。24又有我们的几个人往坟墓那里去，所遇见的正如妇女们所说的，只是没有看见他。」25耶稣对他们说：「无知的人哪，先知所说的一切话，你们的心信得太迟钝了。26基督这样受害，又进入他的荣耀，岂不是应当的吗？」27于是从摩西和众先知起，凡经上所指着自己的话都给他们讲解明白了。
13And behold, on that very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem. 14And they were talking with each other about all these things which had taken place. 15While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself approached and began traveling with them. 16But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him. 17And He said to them, “What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?” And they came to a stop, looking sad. 18One of them, named Cleopas, answered and said to Him, “Are You possibly the only one living near Jerusalem who does not know about the things that happened here in these days?” 19And He said to them, “What sort of things?” And they said to Him, “Those about Jesus the Nazarene, who proved to be a prophet mighty in deed and word in the sight of God and all the people, 20and how the chief priests and our rulers handed Him over to be sentenced to death, and crucified Him. 21“But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. 22“But also some women among us left us bewildered. When they were at the tomb early in the morning, 23and did not find His body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive. 24“And so some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see.” 25And then He said to them, “You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26“Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to come into His glory?” 27Then beginning with Moses and with all the Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures.
28将近他们所去的村子，耶稣好像还要往前行，29他们却强留他，说：「时候晚了，日头已经平西了，请你同我们住下吧！」耶稣就进去，要同他们住下。30到了坐席的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢了，擘开，递给他们。31他们的眼睛明亮了，这才认出他来。忽然耶稣不见了。32他们彼此说：「在路上，他和我们说话，给我们讲解圣经的时候，我们的心岂不是火热的吗？」33他们就立时起身，回耶路撒冷去，正遇见十一个使徒和他们的同人聚集在一处，34说：「主果然复活，已经现给西门看了。」35两个人就把路上所遇见，和擘饼的时候怎么被他们认出来的事，都述说了一遍。
28And they approached the village where they were going, and He gave the impression that He was going farther. 29And so they strongly urged Him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day is now nearly over.” So He went in to stay with them. 30And it came about, when He had reclined at the table with them, that He took the bread and blessed it, and He broke it and began giving it to them. 31And then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. 32They said to one another, “Were our hearts not burning within us when He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” 33And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together and those who were with them, 34saying, “The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon!” 35They began to relate their experiences on the road, and how He was recognized by them at the breaking of the bread.

36Now while they were telling these things, Jesus Himself suddenly stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be to you.” 37But they were startled and frightened, and thought that they were looking at a spirit. 38And He said to them, “Why are you frightened, and why are doubts arising in your hearts? 39“See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you plainly see that I have.” 40And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41While they still could not believe it because of their joy and astonishment, He said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” 42They served Him a piece of broiled fish; 43and He took it and ate it in front of them.
44耶稣对他们说：「这就是我从前与你们同在之时所告诉你们的话说：摩西的律法、先知的书，和诗篇上所记的，凡指着我的话都必须应验。」45于是耶稣开他们的心窍，使他们能明白圣经，46又对他们说：「照经上所写的，基督必受害，第三日从死里复活，47并且人要奉他的名传悔改、赦罪的道，从耶路撒冷起直传到万邦。48你们就是这些事的见证。49我要将我父所应许的降在你们身上，你们要在城里等候，直到你们领受从上头来的能力。」
44Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all the things that are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46and He said to them, “So it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48“You are witnesses of these things. 49“And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”
The Ascension
50耶稣领他们到伯大尼的对面，就举手给他们祝福。51正祝福的时候，他就离开他们，被带到天上去了。52他们就拜他，大大地欢喜，回耶路撒冷去，53常在殿里称颂神。
50And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53and were continually in the temple praising God.
