Jesus before Pilate
1众人都起来，把耶稣解到彼拉多面前，2就告他说：「我们见这人诱惑国民，禁止纳税给凯撒，并说自己是基督，是王。」3彼拉多问耶稣说：「你是犹太人的王吗？」耶稣回答说：「你说的是。」4彼拉多对祭司长和众人说：「我查不出这人有什么罪来。」5但他们越发极力地说：「他煽惑百姓，在犹太遍地传道，从加利利起，直到这里了。」
1Then the entire assembly of them set out and brought Him before Pilate. 2And they began to bring charges against Him, saying, “We found this Man misleading our nation and forbidding us to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.” 3Now Pilate asked Him, saying, “So You are the King of the Jews?” And He answered him and said, “It is as you say.” 4But Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no grounds for charges in the case of this Man.” 5But they kept on insisting, saying, “He is stirring up the people, teaching all over Judea, starting from Galilee, as far as this place!”
6彼拉多一听见，就问：「这人是加利利人吗？」7既晓得耶稣属希律所管，就把他送到希律那里去。那时希律正在耶路撒冷。
6Now when Pilate heard this, he asked whether the Man was a Galilean. 7And when he learned that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, since he also was in Jerusalem at this time.
Jesus before Herod
8希律看见耶稣，就很欢喜；因为听见过他的事，久已想要见他，并且指望看他行一件神迹，9于是问他许多的话，耶稣却一言不答。10祭司长和文士都站着，极力地告他。11希律和他的兵丁就藐视耶稣，戏弄他，给他穿上华丽衣服，把他送回彼拉多那里去。12从前希律和彼拉多彼此有仇，在那一天就成了朋友。
8Now Herod was overjoyed when he saw Jesus; for he had wanted to see Him for a long time, because he had been hearing about Him and was hoping to see some sign performed by Him. 9And he questioned Him at some length; but He offered him no answer at all. 10Now the chief priests and the scribes stood there, vehemently charging Him. 11And Herod, together with his soldiers, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, dressing Him in a brightly shining robe, and sent Him back to Pilate. 12And so Herod and Pilate became friends with one another that very day; for previously, they had been enemies toward each other.
Pilate Seeks Jesus’ Release
13彼拉多传齐了祭司长和官府并百姓，14就对他们说：「你们解这人到我这里，说他是诱惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾将你们告他的事，在你们面前审问他，并没有查出他什么罪来；15就是希律也是如此，所以把他送回来。可见他没有做什么该死的事。16故此，我要责打他，把他释放了。」有古卷加：17每逢这节期，巡抚必须释放一个囚犯给他们。
13Now Pilate summoned to himself the chief priests, the rulers, and the people, 14and he said to them, “You brought this Man to me on the ground that He is inciting the people to revolt; and behold, after examining Him before you, I have found no basis at all in the case of this Man for the charges which you are bringing against Him. 15“No, nor has Herod, for he sent Him back to us; and behold, nothing deserving death has been done by Him. 16“Therefore I will punish Him and release Him.” 17[Now he was obligated to release to them at the feast one prisoner.]
18众人却一齐喊着说：「除掉这个人！释放巴拉巴给我们！」19这巴拉巴是因在城里作乱杀人，下在监里的。20彼拉多愿意释放耶稣，就又劝解他们。21无奈他们喊着说：「钉他十字架！钉他十字架！」22彼拉多第三次对他们说：「为什么呢？这人做了什么恶事呢？我并没有查出他什么该死的罪来。所以，我要责打他，把他释放了。」23他们大声催逼彼拉多，求他把耶稣钉在十字架上。他们的声音就得了胜。24彼拉多这才照他们所求的定案，25把他们所求的那作乱杀人、下在监里的释放了，把耶稣交给他们，任凭他们的意思行。
18But they cried out all together, saying, “Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas!” 19(He was one who had been thrown into prison for a revolt that took place in the city, and for murder.) 20But Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again, 21but they kept on crying out, saying, “Crucify, crucify Him!” 22And he said to them a third time, “Why, what has this Man done wrong? I have found in His case no grounds for a sentence of death; therefore I will punish Him and release Him.” 23But they were insistent, with loud voices, demanding that He be crucified. And their voices began to prevail. 24And so Pilate decided to have their demand carried out. 25And he released the man for whom they were asking, who had been thrown into prison for a revolt and murder; but he handed Jesus over to their will.
Simon Carries the Cross
26带耶稣去的时候，有一个古利奈人西门，从乡下来；他们就抓住他，把十字架搁在他身上，叫他背着跟随耶稣。
26And when they led Him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, as he was coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus.
27有许多百姓跟随耶稣，内中有好些妇女；妇女们为他号咷痛哭。28耶稣转身对她们说：「耶路撒冷的女子，不要为我哭，当为自己和自己的儿女哭。29因为日子要到，人必说：『不生育的，和未曾怀胎的，未曾乳养婴孩的，有福了！』30那时，人要向大山说：倒在我们身上！向小山说：遮盖我们！31「这些事既行在有汁水的树上，那枯干的树将来怎么样呢？」
27Now following Him was a large crowd of the people, and of women who were mourning and grieving for Him. 28But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29“For behold, days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are those who cannot bear, and the wombs that have not given birth, and the breasts that have not nursed.’ 30“Then they will begin TO SAY TO THE MOUNTAINS, ‘FALL ON US,’ AND TO THE HILLS, ‘COVER US.’ 31“For if they do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
32又有两个犯人，和耶稣一同带来处死。
32Now two others, who were criminals, were also being led away to be put to death with Him.
The Crucifixion
33到了一个地方，名叫「髑髅地」，就在那里把耶稣钉在十字架上，又钉了两个犯人：一个在左边，一个在右边。34当下耶稣说：「父啊！赦免他们；因为他们所做的，他们不晓得。」兵丁就拈阄分他的衣服。35百姓站在那里观看。官府也嗤笑他，说：「他救了别人；他若是基督，神所拣选的，可以救自己吧！」36兵丁也戏弄他，上前拿醋送给他喝，37说：「你若是犹太人的王，可以救自己吧！」38在耶稣以上有一个牌子有古卷加：用希腊、罗马、希伯来的文字写着：「这是犹太人的王。」
33And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. 34[But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”] And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves. 35And the people stood by, watching. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One.” 36The soldiers also ridiculed Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine, 37and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!” 38Now there was also an inscription above Him, “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
39那同钉的两个犯人有一个讥笑他，说：「你不是基督吗？可以救自己和我们吧！」40那一个就应声责备他，说：「你既是一样受刑的，还不怕神吗？41我们是应该的，因我们所受的与我们所做的相称，但这个人没有做过一件不好的事。」42就说：「耶稣啊，你得国降临的时候，求你记念我！」43耶稣对他说：「我实在告诉你，今日你要同我在乐园里了。」
39One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” 40But the other responded, and rebuking him, said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41“And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our crimes; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” 42And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
44那时约有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初，45日头变黑了；殿里的幔子从当中裂为两半。46耶稣大声喊着说：「父啊！我将我的灵魂交在你手里。」说了这话，气就断了。47百夫长看见所成的事，就归荣耀与神，说：「这真是个义人！」48聚集观看的众人见了这所成的事都捶着胸回去了。49还有一切与耶稣熟识的人，和从加利利跟着他来的妇女们，都远远地站着看这些事。
44It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the entire land until the ninth hour, 45because the sun stopped shining; and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, INTO YOUR HANDS I ENTRUST MY SPIRIT.” And having said this, He died. 47Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he began praising God, saying, “This Man was in fact innocent.” 48And all the crowds who came together for this spectacle, after watching what had happened, began to return home, beating their chests. 49And all His acquaintances and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee were standing at a distance, seeing these things.
Jesus Is Buried
50有一个人名叫约瑟，是个议士，为人善良公义；51众人所谋所为，他并没有附从。他本是犹太、亚利马太城里素常盼望神国的人。52这人去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体，53就取下来，用细麻布裹好，安放在石头凿成的坟墓里；那里头从来没有葬过人。54那日是预备日，安息日也快到了。55那些从加利利和耶稣同来的妇女跟在后面，看见了坟墓和他的身体怎样安放。56她们就回去，预备了香料香膏。她们在安息日，便遵着诫命安息了。
50And a man named Joseph, who was a member of the Council, a good and righteous man 51(he had not consented to their plan and action), a man from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was waiting for the kingdom of God— 52this man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53And he took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb cut into the rock, where no one had ever lain. 54It was a preparation day, and a Sabbath was about to begin. 55Now the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how His body was laid. 56And then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes.
And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
