Preparing the Passover
1Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching. 2And the chief priests and the scribes were trying to find a way to put Him to death, since they were afraid of the people.
1除酵節，又名逾越節，近了。2祭司長和文士想法子怎麼纔能殺害耶穌；是因他們懼怕百姓。
3And Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who belonged to the number of the twelve. 4And he left and discussed with the chief priests and officers how he was to betray Him to them. 5And they were delighted, and agreed to give him money. 6And so he consented, and began looking for a good opportunity to betray Him to them away from the crowd.
3這時，撒但入了那稱為加略人猶大的心，他本是十二門徒裏的一個。4他去和祭司長並守殿官商量，怎麼可以把耶穌交給他們。5他們歡喜，就約定給他銀子。6他應允了，就找機會，要趁眾人不在跟前的時候，把耶穌交給他們。
7Now the first day of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. 8And so Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it.” 9They said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare it?” 10And He said to them, “When you have entered the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him into the house that he enters. 11“And you shall say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ 12“And he will show you a large, furnished upstairs room; prepare it there.” 13And they left and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
7除酵節，須宰逾越羊羔的那一天到了。8耶穌打發彼得，約翰，說，你們去為我們豫備逾越節的筵席，好叫我們喫。9他們問他說，要我們在那裏豫備。10耶穌說，你們進了城，必有人拿著一瓶水，迎面而來；你們就跟著他，到他所進的房子裏去。11對那家的主人說，夫子說，客房在那裏，我與門徒好在那裏喫逾越節的筵席。12他必指給你們擺設整齊的一間大樓，你們就在那裏豫備。13他們去了，所遇見的，正如耶穌所說的，他們就豫備了逾越節的筵席。
The Lord’s Supper
14When the hour came, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him. 15And He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16for I say to you, I shall not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves; 18for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.” 19And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 20And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood. 21“But behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Mine on the table. 22“For indeed, the Son of Man is going as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!” 23And they began to debate among themselves which one of them it was who was going to do this.
14時候到了，耶穌坐席，使徒也和他同坐。15耶穌對他們說，我很願意在受害以先，和你們喫這逾越節的筵席。16我告訴你們，我不再喫這筵席，直到成就在神的國裏。17耶穌接過杯來，祝謝了，說，你們拿這個，大家分著喝。18我告訴你們，從今以後，我不再喝這葡萄汁，直等神的國來到。19又拿起餅來祝謝了，就擘開，遞給他們，說，這是我的身體，為你們捨的；你們也應當如此行，為的是記念我。20飯後也照樣拿起杯來，說，這杯是用我血所立的新約，是為你們流出來的。21看哪，那賣我之人的手，與我一同在桌子上。22人子固然要照所豫定的去世；但賣人子的人有禍了。23他們就彼此對問，是那一個要作這事。
Who Is Greatest
24And a dispute also developed among them as to which one of them was regarded as being the greatest. 25And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles domineer over them; and those who have authority over them are called ‘Benefactors.’ 26“But it is not this way for you; rather, the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant. 27“For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.
24門徒起了爭論，他們中間那一個可算為大。25耶穌說，外邦人有君王為主治理他們；那掌權管他們的，稱為恩主；26但你們不可這樣；你們裏頭為大的，倒要像年幼的；為首領的，倒要像服事人的。27是誰為大，是坐席的呢，是服事人的呢；不是坐席的大麼；然而我在你們中間，如同服事人的。
28“You are the ones who have stood by Me in My trials; 29and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you 30that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
28我在磨煉之中，常和我同在的就是你們．29我將國賜給你們，正如我父賜給我一樣。30叫你們在我國裏，坐在我的席上喫喝；並且坐在寶座上，審判以色列十二個支派。
31“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you men like wheat; 32but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail; and you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” 33But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death!” 34But He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”
31主又說，西門，西門，撒但想要得著你們，好篩你們，像篩麥子一樣；32但我已經為你祈求，叫你不至於失了信心；你回頭以後，要堅固你的弟兄。33彼得說，主阿，我就是同你下監，同你受死，也是甘心。34耶穌說，彼得，我告訴你，今日雞還沒有叫，你要三次說不認得我。
35And He said to them, “When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.” 36And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his cloak and buy one. 37“For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me: ‘AND HE WAS COUNTED WITH WRONGDOERS’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.” 38They said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
35耶穌又對他們說，我差你們出去的時候，沒有錢囊，沒有口袋，沒有鞋，你們缺少甚麼沒有；他們說，沒有。36耶穌說，但如今有錢囊的可以帶著；有口袋的也可以帶著；沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。37我告訴你們，經上寫著說，他被列在罪犯之中。這話必應驗在我身上，因為那關係我的事，必然成就。38他們說，主阿，請看，這裏有兩把刀；耶穌說，彀了。
The Garden of Gethsemane
39And He came out and went, as was His habit, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him. 40Now when He arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you do not come into temptation.” 41And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray, 42saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.” 43[Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him. 44And being in agony, He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground]. 45When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow, 46and He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you do not come into temptation.”
39耶穌出來，照常往橄欖山去；門徒也跟隨他。40到了那地方，就對他們說，你們要禱告，免得入了迷惑。41於是離開他們，約有扔一塊石頭那麼遠，跪下禱告，42說，父阿，你若願意，就把這杯撤去；然而不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思。43有一位天使從天上顯現，加添他的力量。44耶穌極其傷痛，禱告更加懇切；汗珠如大血點，滴在地上。45禱告完了，就起來，到門徒那裏，見他們因為憂愁都睡著了；46就對他們說，你們為甚麼睡覺呢；起來禱告，免得入了迷惑。
Jesus Betrayed by Judas
47While He was still speaking, behold, a crowd came, and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading the way for them; and he approached Jesus to kiss Him. 48But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” 49When those who were around Him saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?” 50And one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51But Jesus responded and said, “Stop! No more of this.” And He touched his ear and healed him. 52And Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a man inciting a revolt? 53“While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.”
47說話之間，來了許多人，那十二個門徒裏名叫猶大的，走在前頭，就近耶穌，要與他親嘴。48耶穌對他說，猶大，你用親嘴的暗號賣人子麼。49左右的人見光景不好，就說，主阿，我們拿刀砍可以不可以。50內中有一個人，把大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。51耶穌說，到了這個地步，由他們罷；就摸那人的耳朵，把他治好了。52耶穌對那些來拿他的祭司長，和守殿官，並長老說，你們帶著刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜麼。53我天天同你們在殿裏，你們不下手拿我；現在卻是你們的時候，黑暗掌權了。
Jesus’ Arrest
54Now they arrested Him and led Him away, and brought Him to the house of the high priest; but Peter was following at a distance. 55After they kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter was sitting among them. 56And a slave woman, seeing him as he sat in the firelight, and staring at him, said, “This man was with Him as well.” 57But he denied it, saying, “I do not know Him, woman!” 58And a little later, another person saw him and said, “You are one of them too!” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!” 59And after about an hour had passed, some other man began to insist, saying, “Certainly this man also was with Him, for he, too, is a Galilean.” 60But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about!” And immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed. 61And then the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had told him, “Before a rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.” 62And he went out and wept bitterly.
54他們拿住耶穌，把他帶到大祭司的宅裏；彼得遠遠的跟著。55他們在院子裏生了火，一同坐著；彼得也坐在他們中間。56有一個使女，看見彼得坐在火光裏，就定睛看他，說，這個人素來也是同那人一夥的。57彼得卻不承認，說，女子，我不認得他。58過了不多的時候，又有一個人看見他，說，你也是他們一黨的；彼得說，你這個人，我不是。59約過了一小時，又有一個人極力的說，他實在是同那人一夥的；因為他也是加利利人。60彼得說，你這個人，我不曉得你說的是甚麼；正說話之間，雞就叫了。61主轉過身來，看彼得。彼得便想起主對他所說的話，今日雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。62他就出去痛哭。
63The men who were holding Jesus in custody began mocking Him and beating Him, 64and they blindfolded Him and repeatedly asked Him, saying, “Prophesy, who is the one who hit You?” 65And they were saying many other things against Him, blaspheming.
63看守耶穌的人，戲弄他，打他，64又蒙著他的眼問他說，你是先知告訴我們，打你的是誰。65他們還用許多別的話辱罵他。
Jesus before the Sanhedrin
66When it was day, the Council of elders of the people assembled, both chief priests and scribes, and they led Him away to their council chamber, saying, 67“If You are the Christ, tell us.” But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe; 68and if I ask a question, you will not answer. 69“But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” 70And they all said, “So You are the Son of God?” And He said to them, “You say correctly that I am.” 71And then they said, “What further need do we have of testimony? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth!”
66天一亮，民間的眾長老連祭司長帶文士都聚會；把耶穌帶到他們的公會裏，67說，你若是基督，就告訴我們。耶穌說，我若告訴你們，你們也不信。68我若問你們，你們也不回答。69從今以後，人子要坐在神權能的右邊。70他們都說，這樣，你是神的兒子麼。耶穌說，你們所說的是。71他們說，何必再用見證呢；他親口所說的，我們都親自聽見了。
