The Empty Tomb
1七日的第一日清早，天還黑的時候，抹大拉的馬利亞來到墳墓那裏，看見石頭從墳墓挪開了；2就跑來見西門彼得，和耶穌所愛的那個門徒，對他們說，有人把主從墳墓裏挪了去，我們不知道放在那裏。3彼得和那門徒就出來，往墳墓那裏去。4兩個人同跑，那門徒比彼得跑的更快，先到了墳墓；5低頭往裏看，就見細麻布還放在那裏；只是沒有進去。6西門彼得隨後也到了，進墳墓裏去，就看見細麻布還放在那裏；7又看見耶穌的裹頭巾，沒有和細麻布放在一處，是另在一處捲著。8先到墳墓的那門徒也進去，看見就信了。9因為他們還不明白聖經的意思，就是耶穌必要從死裏復活。10於是兩個門徒回自己的住處去了。
1Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already removed from the tomb. 2So she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we do not know where they have put Him.” 3So Peter and the other disciple left, and they were going to the tomb. 4The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead, faster than Peter, and came to the tomb first; 5and he stooped to look in, and saw the linen wrappings lying there; however he did not go in. 6So Simon Peter also came, following him, and he entered the tomb; and he looked at the linen wrappings lying there, 7and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings but folded up in a place by itself. 8So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb also entered then, and he saw and believed. 9For they did not yet understand the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead. 10So the disciples went away again to their own homes.
11馬利亞卻站在墳墓外面哭；哭的時候，低頭往墳墓裏看，12就見兩個天使，穿著白衣，在安放耶穌身體的地方坐著，一個在頭，一個在腳。13天使對她說，婦人，你為甚麼哭。他說，因為有人把我主挪了去，我不知道放在那裏。14說了這話，就轉過身來，看見耶穌站在那裏，卻不知道是耶穌。15耶穌問他說，婦人，為甚麼哭，你找誰呢。馬利亞以為是看園的，就對他說，先生，若是你把他移了去，請告訴我，你把他放在那裏，我便去取他。16耶穌說，馬利亞。馬利亞就轉過來，用希伯來話對他說，拉波尼，（拉波尼就是夫子的意思）；17耶穌說，不要摸我；因我還沒有升上去見我的父；你往我弟兄那裏去，告訴他們說，我要升上去，見我的父，也是你們的父；見我的神，也是你們的神。18抹大拉的馬利亞就去告訴門徒說，我已經看見了主；他又將主對他說的這話告訴他們。
11But Mary was standing outside the tomb, weeping; so as she wept, she stooped to look into the tomb; 12and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying. 13And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they put Him.” 14When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and yet she did not know that it was Jesus. 15Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Thinking that He was the gardener, she said to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you put Him, and I will take Him away.” 16Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher). 17Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’” 18Mary Magdalene came and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and that He had said these things to her.
Jesus among His Disciples
19那日，（就是七日的第一日），晚上，門徒所在的地方，因怕猶太人，門都關了；耶穌來站在當中，對他們說，願你們平安。20說了這話，就把手和肋旁，指給他們看；門徒看見主，就喜樂了。21耶穌又對他們說，願你們平安；父怎樣差遣了我，我也照樣差遣你們。22說了這話，就向他們吹一口氣，說，你們受聖靈。23你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就赦免了；你們留下誰的罪，誰的罪就留下了。
19Now when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were together due to fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, “Peace be to you.” 20And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23“If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”
24那十二個門徒中，有稱為低土馬的多馬；耶穌來的時候，他沒有和他們同在。25那些門徒就對他說，我們已經看見主了。多馬卻說，我非看見他手上的釘痕，用指頭探入那釘痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我總不信。
24But Thomas, one of the twelve, who was called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25So the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
26過了八日，門徒又在屋裏，多馬也和他們同在，門都關了；耶穌來站在當中說，願你們平安。27就對多馬說，伸過你的指頭來，摸摸原文作看我的手；伸出你的手來，探入我的肋旁；不要疑惑，總要信。28多馬說，我的主，我的神。29耶穌對他說，你因看見了我纔信；那沒有看見就信的，有福了。
26Eight days later His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be to you.” 27Then He said to Thomas, “Place your finger here, and see My hands; and take your hand and put it into My side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer.” 28Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
Why This Gospel Was Written
30耶穌在門徒面前，另外行了許多神蹟，沒有記在這書上。31但記這些事，要叫你們信耶穌是基督，是神的兒子；並且叫你們信了他，就可以因他的名得生命。
30So then, many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.
