Bildad Says Mankind Is Inferior
1書亞人比勒達回答說：
1Then Bildad the Shuhite responded,
2神有治理之權，有威嚴可畏；他在高處施行和平。
2“Dominion and awe belong to Him
Who makes peace in His heights.
Who makes peace in His heights.
3他的諸軍豈能數算？他的光亮一發，誰不蒙照呢？
3“Is there any number to His troops?
And upon whom does His light not rise?
And upon whom does His light not rise?
4這樣在神面前，人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？
4“How then can mankind be righteous with God?
Or how can anyone who is born of woman be pure?
Or how can anyone who is born of woman be pure?
5在神眼前，月亮也無光亮，星宿也不清潔。
5“If even the moon has no brightness
And the stars are not pure in His sight,
And the stars are not pure in His sight,
6何況如蟲的人，如蛆的世人呢！
6How much less man, that maggot,
And a son of man, that worm!”
And a son of man, that worm!”
