Hezekiah Healed
1那时希西家病得要死，亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚去见他，对他说：「耶和华如此说：你当留遗命与你的家，因为你必死不能活了。」2希西家就转脸朝墙，祷告耶和华说：3「耶和华啊，求你记念我在你面前怎样存完全的心，按诚实行事，又做你眼中所看为善的。」希西家就痛哭了。
1In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him and said to him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Set your house in order, for you are going to die and not live.’” 2Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, 3and said, “Please, LORD, just remember how I have walked before You wholeheartedly and in truth, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept profusely.
4耶和华的话临到以赛亚说：5「你去告诉希西家说，耶和华—你祖大卫的神如此说：我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪。我必加增你十五年的寿数；6并且我要救你和这城脱离亚述王的手，也要保护这城。
4Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying, 5“Go and say to Hezekiah, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David says: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add fifteen years to your life. 6“And I will save you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will protect this city.”’
7「我—耶和华必成就我所说的。我先给你一个兆头，8就是叫亚哈斯的日晷，向前进的日影往后退十度。」于是，前进的日影果然在日晷上往后退了十度。
7“And this shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will perform this word that He has spoken: 8“Behold, I will make the shadow on the stairway, which has gone down with the sun on the stairway of Ahaz, go back ten steps.” So the sun’s shadow went back ten steps on the stairway on which it had gone down.
9犹大王希西家患病已经痊愈，就作诗说：10我说：正在我中年或译：晌午之日必进入阴间的门；我余剩的年岁不得享受。11我说：我必不得见耶和华，就是在活人之地不见耶和华；我与世上的居民不再见面。12我的住处被迁去离开我，好像牧人的帐棚一样；我将性命卷起，像织布的卷布一样。耶和华必将我从机头剪断，从早到晚，他要使我完结。13我使自己安静直到天亮；他像狮子折断我一切的骨头，从早到晚，他要使我完结。14我像燕子呢喃，像白鹤鸣叫，又像鸽子哀鸣；我因仰观，眼睛困倦。耶和华啊，我受欺压，求你为我作保。
9This is a writing of Hezekiah king of Judah after his illness and recovery: 10I said, “In the middle of my life
I am to enter the gates of Sheol;
I have been deprived of the rest of my years.” 11I said, “I will not see the LORD,
The LORD in the land of the living;
I will no longer look on mankind among the inhabitants of the world. 12“Like a shepherd’s tent my dwelling is pulled up and removed from me;
As a weaver I rolled up my life.
He cuts me off from the loom;
From day until night You make an end of me. 13“I composed my soul until morning.
Like a lion—so He breaks all my bones,
From day until night You make an end of me. 14“Like a swallow, like a crane, so I twitter;
I moan like a dove;
My eyes look wistfully to the heights;
Lord, I am oppressed, be my security.
I am to enter the gates of Sheol;
I have been deprived of the rest of my years.” 11I said, “I will not see the LORD,
The LORD in the land of the living;
I will no longer look on mankind among the inhabitants of the world. 12“Like a shepherd’s tent my dwelling is pulled up and removed from me;

15我可说什么呢？他应许我的，也给我成就了。我因心里的苦楚，在一生的年日必悄悄而行。16主啊，人得存活乃在乎此。我灵存活也全在此。所以求你使我痊愈，仍然存活。17看哪，我受大苦，本为使我得平安；你因爱我的灵魂或译：生命便救我脱离败坏的坑，因为你将我一切的罪扔在你的背后。18原来，阴间不能称谢你，死亡不能颂扬你；下坑的人不能盼望你的诚实。19只有活人，活人必称谢你，像我今日称谢你一样。为父的，必使儿女知道你的诚实。20耶和华肯救我，所以，我们要一生一世在耶和华殿中用丝弦的乐器唱我的诗歌。
15“What shall I say?
For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it;
I will walk quietly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul. 16“Lord, by these things people live,
And in all these is the life of my spirit;
Restore me to health and let me live! 17“Behold, for my own welfare I had great bitterness;
But You have kept my soul from the pit of nothingness,
For You have hurled all my sins behind Your back. 18“For Sheol cannot thank You,
Death cannot praise You;
Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness. 19“It is the living who give thanks to You, as I do today;
A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness. 20“The LORD is certain to save me;
So we will play my songs on stringed instruments
All the days of our life at the house of the LORD.”
For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it;
I will walk quietly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul. 16“Lord, by these things people live,
And in all these is the life of my spirit;

But You have kept my soul from the pit of nothingness,
For You have hurled all my sins behind Your back. 18“For Sheol cannot thank You,
Death cannot praise You;

A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness. 20“The LORD is certain to save me;
So we will play my songs on stringed instruments
All the days of our life at the house of the LORD.”
21以赛亚说：「当取一块无花果饼来，贴在疮上，王必痊愈。」22希西家问说：「我能上耶和华的殿，有什么兆头呢？」
21Now Isaiah had said, “Have them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, so that he may recover.” 22Then Hezekiah had said, “What is the sign that I will go up to the house of the LORD?”
