One Sacrifice of Christ Is Sufficient
1For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the form of those things itself, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually every year, make those who approach perfect. 2Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins? 3But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,
“YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED SACRIFICE AND OFFERING,
BUT YOU HAVE PREPARED A BODY FOR ME; 6YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN PLEASURE IN WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND OFFERINGS FOR SIN. 7“THEN I SAID, ‘BEHOLD, I HAVE COME
(IT IS WRITTEN OF ME IN THE SCROLL OF THE BOOK)
TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.’” 8After saying above, “SACRIFICES AND OFFERINGS AND WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND OFFERINGS FOR SIN YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED, NOR HAVE YOU TAKEN PLEASURE IN THEM” (which are offered according to the Law), 9then He said, “BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second. 10By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.

11Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, 13waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES ARE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET. 14For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. 15And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, 16“THIS IS THE COVENANT WHICH I WILL MAKE WITH THEM
AFTER THOSE DAYS, DECLARES THE LORD:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEARTS,
AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR MIND,”
He then says, 17“AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS
I WILL NO LONGER REMEMBER.” 18Now where there is forgiveness of these things, an offering for sin is no longer required.
AFTER THOSE DAYS, DECLARES THE LORD:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEARTS,
AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR MIND,”
He then says, 17“AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS
I WILL NO LONGER REMEMBER.” 18Now where there is forgiveness of these things, an offering for sin is no longer required.
11凡祭司天天站著事奉神，屢次獻上一樣的祭物；這祭物永不能除罪。12但基督獻了一次永遠的贖罪祭，就在神的右邊；坐下了；13從此等候他仇敵成了他的腳凳。14因為他一次獻祭，便叫那得以成聖的人永遠完全。15聖靈也對我們作見證；因為他既已說過，16主說，那些日子以後，我與他們所立的約乃是這樣；我要將我的律法寫在他們心上，又要放在他們的裏面。17以後就說，我不再記念他們的罪愆和他們的過犯。18這些罪過既已赦免，就不用再為罪獻祭了。
A New and Living Way
19Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, 25not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
19弟兄們，我們既因耶穌的血，得以坦然進入至聖所，20是藉著他給我們開了一條又新又活的路從幔子經過，這幔子就是他的身體；21又有一位大祭司治理神的家；22並我們心中天良的虧欠已經灑去，身體用清水洗淨了，就當存著誠心，和充足的信心，來到神面前；23也要堅守我們所承認的指望，不至搖動；因為那應許我們的是信實的；24又要彼此相顧，激發愛心，勉勵行善。25你們不可停止聚會，好像那些停止慣了的人，倒要彼此勸勉；既知道原文作看見那日子臨近，就更當如此。
Christ or Judgment
26For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. 28Anyone who has ignored the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know Him who said, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY.” And again, “THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE.” 31It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
26因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了；27惟有戰懼等候審判和那燒滅眾敵人的烈火。28人干犯摩西的律法，憑兩三個見證人，尚且不得憐恤而死；29何況人踐踏神的兒子，將那使他成聖之約的血當作平常，又褻慢施恩的聖靈，你們想，他要受的刑罰該怎樣加重呢。30因為我們知道誰說，伸冤在我，我必報應；又說，主要審判他的百姓。31落在永生神的手裏，真是可怕的。
32But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings, 33partly by being made a public spectacle through insults and distress, and partly by becoming companions with those who were so treated. 34For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better and lasting possession. 35Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. 37FOR YET IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE,
HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. 38BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE WILL LIVE BY FAITH;
AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM. 39But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith for the safekeeping of the soul.
HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. 38BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE WILL LIVE BY FAITH;
AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM. 39But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith for the safekeeping of the soul.
32你們要追念往日，蒙了光照以後，所忍受大爭戰的各樣苦難；33一面被毀謗遭患難，成了戲景，叫眾人觀看；一面陪伴那些受這樣苦難的人。34因為你們體恤了那些被捆鎖的人，並且你們的家業被人搶去，也甘心忍受，知道自己有更美長存的家業。35所以你們不可丟棄勇敢的心；存這樣的心必得大賞賜。36你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了神的旨意，就可以得著所應許的。37因為還有一點點時候，那要來的就來，並不遲延。38只是義人義人有古卷作我的義人必因信得生；他若退後，我心裏就不喜歡他。39我們卻不是退後入沉淪的那等人，乃是有信心以致靈魂得救的人。
