Prophecy against Mount Seir
1耶和华的话又临到我说：2「人子啊，你要面向西珥山发预言，攻击它，3对它说，主耶和华如此说：西珥山哪，我与你为敌，必向你伸手攻击你，使你荒凉，令人惊骇。4我必使你的城邑变为荒场，成为凄凉。你就知道我是耶和华。5因为你永怀仇恨，在以色列人遭灾、罪孽到了尽头的时候，将他们交与刀剑，6所以主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我必使你遭遇流血的报应，罪原文是血；本节同必追赶你；你既不恨恶杀人流血，所以这罪必追赶你。7我必使西珥山荒凉，令人惊骇，来往经过的人我必剪除。8我必使西珥山满有被杀的人。被刀杀的，必倒在你小山和山谷，并一切的溪水中。9我必使你永远荒凉，使你的城邑无人居住，你的民就知道我是耶和华。
1Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2“Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it 3and say to it, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says:
“Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir,
And I will reach out with My hand against you
And make you a desolation and a waste. 4“I will turn your cities to ruins,
And you will become a desolation.
Then you will know that I am the LORD. 5“Since you have had everlasting hostility and have turned over the sons of Israel to the power of the sword at the time of their disaster, at the time of the punishment of the end, 6therefore as I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “I will certainly doom you to bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you; since you have not hated bloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you. 7“I will make Mount Seir a waste and a desolation and I will eliminate from it one who passes through and returns. 8“I will fill its mountains with its slain; those killed by the sword will fall on your hills, in your valleys, and in all your ravines. 9“I will make you a permanent desolation, and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
“Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir,

10「因为你曾说：『这二国这二邦必归于我，我必得为业』（其实耶和华仍在那里），11所以主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我必照你的怒气和你从仇恨中向他们所发的嫉妒待你。我审判你的时候，必将自己显明在他们中间。12你也必知道我—耶和华听见了你的一切毁谤，就是你攻击以色列山的话，说：『这些山荒凉，是归我们吞灭的。』13你们也用口向我夸大，增添与我反对的话，我都听见了。14主耶和华如此说：全地欢乐的时候，我必使你荒凉。15你怎样因以色列家的地业荒凉而喜乐，我必照你所行的待你。西珥山哪，你和以东全地必都荒凉。你们就知道我是耶和华。」
10“Since you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the LORD was there, 11therefore as I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “I will deal with you according to your anger and according to your envy which you displayed because of your hatred for them; so I will make Myself known among them when I judge you. 12“Then you will know that I, the LORD, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel saying, ‘They are desolate; they have been given to us as food.’ 13“And you have spoken arrogantly against Me and have multiplied your words against Me; I Myself have heard it.” 14‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “As all the earth rejoices, I will make you a desolation. 15“As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so I will do to you. You will be a desolation, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”’
