God Promises Action
1耶和华对摩西说：「现在你必看见我向法老所行的事，使他因我大能的手容以色列人去，且把他们赶出他的地。」
1Then the LORD said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land.”
2神晓谕摩西说：「我是耶和华。3我从前向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各显现为全能的神；至于我名耶和华，他们未曾知道。4我与他们坚定所立的约，要把他们寄居的迦南地赐给他们。5我也听见以色列人被埃及人苦待的哀声，我也记念我的约。6所以你要对以色列人说：『我是耶和华；我要用伸出来的膀臂重重地刑罚埃及人，救赎你们脱离他们的重担，不做他们的苦工。7我要以你们为我的百姓，我也要作你们的神。你们要知道我是耶和华—你们的神，是救你们脱离埃及人之重担的。8我起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的那地，我要把你们领进去，将那地赐给你们为业。我是耶和华。』」9摩西将这话告诉以色列人，只是他们因苦工愁烦，不肯听他的话。
2God spoke further to Moses and said to him, “I am the LORD; 3and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name, LORD, I did not make Myself known to them. 4“I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they lived as strangers. 5“Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. 6“Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the labors of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments. 7‘Then I will take you as My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the labors of the Egyptians. 8‘I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession; I am the LORD.’” 9So Moses said this to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on account of their despondency and cruel bondage.
10耶和华晓谕摩西说：11「你进去对埃及王法老说，要容以色列人出他的地。」12摩西在耶和华面前说：「以色列人尚且不听我的话，法老怎肯听我这拙口笨舌的人呢？」13耶和华吩咐摩西、亚伦往以色列人和埃及王法老那里去，把以色列人从埃及地领出来。
10Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 11“Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the sons of Israel go out of his land.” 12But Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me; how then will Pharaoh listen to me, as I am unskilled in speech?” 13Nevertheless, the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron and gave them a command concerning the sons of Israel and Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

14These are the heads of their fathers’ households. The sons of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben. 15And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon. 16And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari; and the length of Levi’s life was 137 years. 17The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families. 18And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel; and the length of Kohath’s life was 133 years. 19And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations. 20Now Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the length of Amram’s life was 137 years. 21And the sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri. 22And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri. 23Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 24And the sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites. 25Now Aaron’s son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites according to their families. 26It was the same Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, “Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their multitudes.” 27They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing out the sons of Israel from Egypt; it was the same Moses and Aaron.
28当耶和华在埃及地对摩西说话的日子，29他向摩西说：「我是耶和华；我对你说的一切话，你都要告诉埃及王法老。」30摩西在耶和华面前说：「看哪，我是拙口笨舌的人，法老怎肯听我呢？」
28Now it came about on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, 29that the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “I am the LORD; say to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say to you.” 30But Moses said before the LORD, “Behold, I am unskilled in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me?”
