Unity of the Spirit
1Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
1我為主被囚的勸你們，既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱．2凡事謙虛，溫柔，忍耐，用愛心互相寬容，3用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。4身體只有一個，聖靈只有一個，正如你們蒙召，同有一個指望，5一主，一信，一洗，6一神，就是眾人的父，超乎眾人之上，貫乎眾人之中，也住在眾人之內。
7But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8Therefore it says,
“WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH,
HE LED CAPTIVE THE CAPTIVES,
AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO PEOPLE.” 9(Now this expression, “He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.) 11And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ; 13until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 14As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; 15but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ, 16from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

7我們各人蒙恩，都是照基督所量給各人的恩賜。8所以經上說，『他升上高天的時候，擄掠了仇敵，將各樣的恩賜賞給人。』9（既說升上，豈不是先降在地下麼．10那降下的，就是遠升諸天之上要充滿萬有的。）11他所賜的有使徒，有先知．有傳福音的．有牧師和教師．12為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體．13直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一，認識神的兒子得以長大成人，滿有基督長成的身量．14使我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計，和欺騙的法術，被一切異教之風搖動，飄來飄去，就隨從各樣的異端．15惟用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督．16全身都靠他聯絡得合式，百節各按各職，照著各體的功用，彼此相助，便叫身體漸漸增長，在愛中建立自己。
The Christian’s Walk
17So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, that you are to no longer walk just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their minds, 18being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; 19and they, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecent behavior for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. 20But you did not learn Christ in this way, 21if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, 22that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, 23and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
17所以我說，且在主裏確實的說，你們行事，不要再像外邦人存虛妄的心行事．18他們心地昏昧，與神所賜的生命隔絕了，都因自己無知，心裏剛硬．19良心既然喪盡，就放縱私慾，貪行種種的污穢。20你們學了基督，卻不是這樣．21如果你們聽過他的道，領了他的教，學了他的真理，22就要脫去你們從前行為上的舊人．這舊人是因私慾的迷惑，漸漸變壞的．23又要將你們的心志改換一新．24並且穿上新人．這新人是照著神的形像造的，有真理的仁義，和聖潔。
25Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE OF YOU WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, because we are parts of one another. 26BE ANGRY, AND YET DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27and do not give the devil an opportunity. 28The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather he must labor, producing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need. 29Let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear. 30Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31All bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. 32Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
25所以你們要棄絕謊言，各人與鄰舍說實話．因為我們是互相為肢體。26生氣卻不要犯罪．不可含怒到日落．27也不可給魔鬼留地步。28從前偷竊的不要再偷．總要勞力，親手作正經事，就可有餘，分給那缺少的人。29污穢的言語，一句不可出口，只要隨事說造就人的好話，叫聽見的人得益處。30不要叫神的聖靈擔憂．你們原是受了他的印記，等候得贖的日子來到。31一切苦毒，惱恨，忿怒，嚷鬧，毀謗，並一切的惡毒或作陰毒，都當從你們中間除掉．32並要以恩慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如神在基督裏饒恕了你們一樣。
