The Curses at Mount Ebal
1摩西和以色列的眾長老吩咐百姓說：「你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命。2你們過約但河，到了耶和華─你神所賜給你的地，當天要立起幾塊大石頭，墁上石灰，3把這律法的一切話寫在石頭上。你過了河，可以進入耶和華─你神所賜你流奶與蜜之地，正如耶和華─你列祖之神所應許你的。4你們過了約但河，就要在以巴路山上照我今日所吩咐的，將這些石頭立起來，墁上石灰。5在那裏要為耶和華─你的神築一座石壇；在石頭上不可動鐵器。6要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華─你神的壇，在壇上要將燔祭獻給耶和華─你的神。7又要獻平安祭，且在那裏吃，在耶和華─你的神面前歡樂。8你要將這律法的一切話明明地寫在石頭上。」
1Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “Keep all the commandments which I am commanding you today. 2“So it shall be on the day when you cross the Jordan to the land which the LORD your God is giving you, that you shall set up for yourself large stones and coat them with lime 3and write on them all the words of this Law, when you cross over, so that you may enter the land which the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you. 4“So it shall be when you cross the Jordan, you shall set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you shall coat them with lime. 5“Moreover, you shall build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones; you shall not wield an iron tool on them. 6“You shall build the altar of the LORD your God of uncut stones, and you shall offer on it burnt offerings to the LORD your God; 7and you shall sacrifice peace offerings and eat there, and rejoice before the LORD your God. 8“You shall write on the stones all the words of this Law very clearly.”
9摩西和祭司利未人曉諭以色列眾人說：「以色列啊，要默默靜聽。你今日成為耶和華─你神的百姓了。10所以要聽從耶和華─你神的話，遵行他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。」
9Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel, saying, “Be silent and listen, Israel! This day you have become a people for the LORD your God. 10“So you shall obey the LORD your God, and do His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today.”
11當日，摩西囑咐百姓說：12「你們過了約但河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫六個支派的人都要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。13流便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但、拿弗他利六個支派的人都要站在以巴路山上宣布咒詛。14利未人要向以色列眾人高聲說：
11Moses also commanded the people on that day, saying, 12“When you cross the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin. 13“For the curse, these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14“The Levites shall then respond and say to all the people of Israel with a loud voice,
15「『有人製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，或雕刻，或鑄造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中設立，那人必受咒詛！』百姓都要答應說：『阿們！』
15‘Cursed is the person who makes a carved image or cast metal image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ And all the people shall reply and say, ‘Amen.’
16「『輕慢父母的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
16‘Cursed is one who treats his father or mother contemptuously.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
17「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
17‘Cursed is one who displaces his neighbor’s boundary marker.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
18「『使瞎子走差路的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
18‘Cursed is one who misleads a person who is blind on the road.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
19「『向寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
19‘Cursed is one who distorts the justice due a stranger, an orphan, or a widow.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
20「『與繼母行淫的，必受咒詛！因為掀開他父親的衣襟。』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
20‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s garment.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
21「『與獸淫合的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
21‘Cursed is one who has sexual intercourse with any animal.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
22「『與異母同父，或異父同母的姊妹行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
22‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or of his mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
23「『與岳母行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
23‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
24「『暗中殺人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
24‘Cursed is he who attacks his neighbor in secret.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
25「『受賄賂害死無辜之人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
25‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to attack an innocent person.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
26「『不堅守遵行這律法言語的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』
26‘Cursed is anyone who does not fulfill the words of this Law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
