Various Laws
1「你若看见弟兄的牛或羊失迷了路，不可佯为不见，总要把它牵回来交给你的弟兄。2你弟兄若离你远，或是你不认识他，就要牵到你家去，留在你那里，等你弟兄来寻找就还给他。3你的弟兄无论失落什么，或是驴，或是衣服，你若遇见，都要这样行，不可佯为不见。4你若看见弟兄的牛或驴跌倒在路上，不可佯为不见，总要帮助他拉起来。
1“You shall not see your countryman’s ox or his sheep straying away, and avoid them; you shall certainly bring them back to your countryman. 2“And if your countryman is not near you, or if you do not know him, then you shall bring it to your house, and it shall remain with you until your countryman looks for it; then you shall restore it to him. 3“You shall also do this with his donkey, and you shall do the same with his garment, and you shall do likewise with any lost property of your countryman, which has been lost by him and you have found. You are not allowed to avoid them. 4“You shall not see your countryman’s donkey or his ox fallen down on the road, and avoid them; you shall certainly help him raise them up.
5「妇女不可穿戴男子所穿戴的，男子也不可穿妇女的衣服，因为这样行都是耶和华—你神所憎恶的。
5“A woman shall not wear a man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.
6「你若路上遇见鸟窝，或在树上或在地上，里头有雏或有蛋，母鸟伏在雏上或在蛋上，你不可连母带雏一并取去。7总要放母，只可取雏；这样你就可以享福，日子得以长久。
6“If you happen to come upon a bird’s nest along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs in it, and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young; 7you shall certainly let the mother go, but the young you may take for yourself, in order that it may go well for you and that you may prolong your days.
8「你若建造房屋，要在房上的四围安栏杆，免得有人从房上掉下来，流血的罪就归于你家。
8“When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, so that you will not bring guilt for bloodshed on your house if anyone falls from it.
9「不可把两样种子种在你的葡萄园里，免得你撒种所结的和葡萄园的果子都要充公。
9“You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, otherwise all the produce of the seed which you have sown and the yield of the vineyard will be forfeited to the sanctuary.
10不可并用牛、驴耕地。
10“You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.
11不可穿羊毛、细麻两样搀杂料做的衣服。
11“You shall not wear a material of wool and linen combined together.
12「你要在所披的外衣上四围做子。」
12“You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of your garment with which you cover yourself.

13「人若娶妻，与她同房之后恨恶她，14信口说她，将丑名加在她身上，说：『我娶了这女子，与她同房，见她没有贞洁的凭据』；15女子的父母就要把女子贞洁的凭据拿出来，带到本城门长老那里。16女子的父亲要对长老说：『我将我的女儿给这人为妻，他恨恶她，17信口说她，说：我见你的女儿没有贞洁的凭据；其实这就是我女儿贞洁的凭据。』父母就把那布铺在本城的长老面前。18本城的长老要拿住那人，惩治他，19并要罚他一百舍客勒银子，给女子的父亲，因为他将丑名加在以色列的一个处女身上。女子仍作他的妻，终身不可休她。
13“If any man takes a wife and goes in to her and then turns against her, 14and he charges her with shameful behavior and publicly defames her, and says, ‘I took this woman, but when I came near her, I did not find her to have evidence of virginity,’ 15then the girl’s father and her mother shall take and bring out the evidence of the girl’s virginity to the elders of the city at the gate. 16“And the girl’s father shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man as a wife, but he turned against her; 17and behold, he has charged her with shameful behavior, saying, “I did not find your daughter to have evidence of virginity.” But this is the evidence of my daughter’s virginity.’ And they shall spread out the garment before the elders of the city. 18“Then the elders of that city shall take the man and rebuke him, 19and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give it to the girl’s father, because he publicly defamed a virgin of Israel. And she shall remain his wife; he is not allowed to divorce her all his days.
20但这事若是真的，女子没有贞洁的凭据，21就要将女子带到她父家的门口，本城的人要用石头将她打死；因为她在父家行了淫乱，在以色列中做了丑事。这样，就把那恶从你们中间除掉。
20“But if this charge is true, and they did not find the girl to have evidence of virginity, 21then they shall bring the girl out to the doorway of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death, because she has committed a disgraceful sin in Israel by playing the prostitute in her father’s house; so you shall eliminate the evil from among you.
22「若遇见人与有丈夫的妇人行淫，就要将奸夫淫妇一并治死。这样，就把那恶从以色列中除掉。
22“If a man is found sleeping with a married woman, then both of them shall die, the man who slept with the woman, and the woman; so you shall eliminate the evil from Israel.
23「若有处女已经许配丈夫，有人在城里遇见她，与她行淫，24你们就要把这二人带到本城门，用石头打死—女子是因为虽在城里却没有喊叫；男子是因为玷污别人的妻。这样，就把那恶从你们中间除掉。
23“If there is a girl who is a virgin betrothed to a man, and another man finds her in the city and sleeps with her, 24then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death: the girl, because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man, because he has violated his neighbor’s wife. So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.
25「若有男子在田野遇见已经许配人的女子，强与她行淫，只要将那男子治死。26但不可办女子；她本没有该死的罪，这事就类乎人起来攻击邻舍，将他杀了一样。27因为男子是在田野遇见那已经许配人的女子，女子喊叫，并无人救她。
25“But if the man finds the girl who is betrothed in the field, and the man seizes her and rapes her, then only the man who raped her shall die. 26“And you are not to do anything to the girl; there is no sin in the girl worthy of death, for just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, so is this case. 27“When he found her in the field, the betrothed girl cried out, but there was no one to save her.
28「若有男子遇见没有许配人的处女，抓住她，与她行淫，被人看见，29这男子就要拿五十舍客勒银子给女子的父亲；因他玷污了这女子，就要娶她为妻，终身不可休她。
28“If a man finds a girl who is a virgin, who is not betrothed, and he seizes her and has sexual relations with her, and they are discovered, 29then the man who had sexual relations with her shall give the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall become his wife, because he has violated her; he is not allowed to divorce her all his days.
30「人不可娶继母为妻；不可掀开他父亲的衣襟。」
30“A man shall not take his father’s wife in marriage, so that he does not uncover his father’s garment.
