Laws of the Sanctuary
1“These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully follow in the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess as long as you live on the earth. 2“You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you are going to dispossess serve their gods, on the high mountains, on the hills, and under every leafy tree. 3“And you shall tear down their altars and smash their memorial stones to pieces, and burn their Asherim in the fire, and cut to pieces the carved images of their gods; and you shall eliminate their name from that place. 4“You shall not act this way toward the LORD your God. 5“But you shall seek the LORD at the place which the LORD your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and you shall come there. 6“You shall bring there your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the contribution of your hand, your vowed offerings, your voluntary offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock. 7“There you and your households shall eat before the LORD your God, and rejoice in all your undertakings in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
1「你們存活於世的日子，在耶和華─你們列祖的神所賜你們為業的地上，要謹守遵行的律例典章乃是這些：2你們要將所趕出的國民事奉神的各地方，無論是在高山，在小山，在各青翠樹下，都毀壞了；3也要拆毀他們的祭壇，打碎他們的柱像，用火焚燒他們的木偶，砍下他們雕刻的神像，並將其名從那地方除滅。4你們不可照他們那樣事奉耶和華─你們的神。5但耶和華─你們的神從你們各支派中選擇何處為立他名的居所，你們就當往那裏去求問，6將你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的舉祭，並還願祭、甘心祭，以及牛群羊群中頭生的，都奉到那裏。7在那裏，耶和華─你們神的面前，你們和你們的家屬都可以吃，並且因你手所辦的一切事蒙耶和華─你的神賜福，就都歡樂。
8“You shall not do at all what we are doing here today, everyone doing whatever is right in his own eyes; 9for you have not as yet come to the resting place and the inheritance which the LORD your God is giving you. 10“When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security, 11then it shall come about that the place in which the LORD your God will choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring everything that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution of your hand, and all your choice vowed offerings which you will vow to the LORD. 12“And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance with you.
8我們今日在這裏所行的是各人行自己眼中看為正的事，你們將來不可這樣行；9因為你們還沒有到耶和華─你神所賜你的安息地，所給你的產業。10但你們過了約但河，得以住在耶和華─你們神使你們承受為業之地，又使你們太平，不被四圍的一切仇敵擾亂，安然居住。11那時要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的舉祭，並向耶和華許願獻的一切美祭，都奉到耶和華─你們神所選擇要立為他名的居所。12你們和兒女、僕婢，並住在你們城裏無分無業的利未人，都要在耶和華─你們的神面前歡樂。
13“Be careful that you do not offer your burnt offerings in any cultic place that you see, 14but only in the place which the LORD chooses in one of your tribes: there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do everything that I command you.
13你要謹慎，不可在你所看中的各處獻燔祭。14惟獨耶和華從你那一支派中所選擇的地方，你就要在那裏獻燔祭，行我一切所吩咐你的。
15“However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, whatever you desire, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean alike may eat it, as the gazelle and the deer. 16“Only you shall not eat the blood; you are to pour it out on the ground like water. 17“You are not allowed to eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, new wine, or oil, or the firstborn of your herd or flock, or any of your vowed offerings which you vow, or your voluntary offerings, or the contribution of your hand. 18“But you shall eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God will choose, you and your son and daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all your undertakings. 19“Be careful that you do not abandon the Levite as long as you live in your land.
15「然而，在你各城裏都可以照耶和華─你神所賜你的福分，隨心所欲宰牲吃肉；無論潔淨人不潔淨人都可以吃，就如吃羚羊與鹿一般。16只是不可吃血，要倒在地上，如同倒水一樣。17你的五穀、新酒，和油的十分之一，或是牛群羊群中頭生的，或是你許願獻的，甘心獻的，或是手中的舉祭，都不可在你城裏吃。18但要在耶和華─你的神面前吃，在耶和華─你神所要選擇的地方，你和兒女、僕婢，並住在你城裏的利未人，都可以吃；也要因你手所辦的，在耶和華─你神面前歡樂。19你要謹慎，在你所住的地方永不可丟棄利未人。
20“When the LORD your God extends your border as He has promised you, and you say, ‘I will eat meat,’ because you desire to eat meat, then you may eat meat, whatever you desire. 21“If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, then you may slaughter animals from your herd and flock which the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates whatever you desire. 22“Just as a gazelle or a deer is eaten, so you may eat it; the unclean and the clean alike may eat it. 23“Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh. 24“You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the ground like water. 25“You shall not eat it, so that it may go well for you and your sons after you, since you will be doing what is right in the sight of the LORD. 26“Only your holy things which you may have and your vowed offerings, you shall take and go to the place which the LORD chooses. 27“And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of the LORD your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of the LORD your God, and you shall eat the flesh.
20「耶和華─你的神照他所應許擴張你境界的時候，你心裏想要吃肉，說：『我要吃肉』，就可以隨心所欲地吃肉。21耶和華─你神所選擇要立他名的地方若離你太遠，就可以照我所吩咐的，將耶和華賜給你的牛羊取些宰了，可以隨心所欲在你城裏吃。22你吃那肉，要像吃羚羊與鹿一般；無論潔淨人不潔淨人都可以吃。23只是你要心意堅定，不可吃血，因為血是生命；不可將血原文是生命與肉同吃。24不可吃血，要倒在地上，如同倒水一樣。25不可吃血。這樣，你行耶和華眼中看為正的事，你和你的子孫就可以得福。26只是你分別為聖的物和你的還願祭要奉到耶和華所選擇的地方去。27你的燔祭，連肉帶血，都要獻在耶和華─你神的壇上。平安祭的血要倒在耶和華─你神的壇上；平安祭的肉，你自己可以吃。
28“Be careful and listen to all these words which I am commanding you, so that it may go well for you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
28你要謹守聽從我所吩咐的一切話，行耶和華─你神眼中看為善，看為正的事。這樣，你和你的子孫就可以永遠享福。」
29“When the LORD your God cuts off from you the nations which you are going in to dispossess, and you dispossess them and live in their land, 30be careful that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from your presence, and that you do not inquire about their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods, that I also may do likewise?’ 31“You shall not behave this way toward the LORD your God, because every abominable act which the LORD hates, they have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire for their gods.
29「耶和華─你神將你要去趕出的國民從你面前剪除，你得了他們的地居住，30那時就要謹慎，不可在他們除滅之後隨從他們的惡俗，陷入網羅，也不可訪問他們的神說：『這些國民怎樣事奉他們的神，我也要照樣行。』31你不可向耶和華─你的神這樣行，因為他們向他們的神行了耶和華所憎嫌所恨惡的一切事，甚至將自己的兒女用火焚燒，獻與他們的神。
32“Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take anything away from it.
32凡我所吩咐的，你們都要謹守遵行，不可加添，也不可刪減。
