The Time of the End
1那時，保佑你本國之民的天使長原文是大君米迦勒必站起來，並且有大艱難，從有國以來直到此時，沒有這樣的。你本國的民中，凡名錄在冊上的，必得拯救。2睡在塵埃中的，必有多人復醒。其中有得永生的，有受羞辱永遠被憎惡的。3智慧人必發光，如同天上的光；那使多人歸義的，必發光如星，直到永永遠遠。4但以理啊，你要隱藏這話，封閉這書，直到末時。必有多人來往奔跑或譯：切心研究，知識就必增長。」
1“Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. 2“And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. 3“And those who have insight will shine like the glow of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4“But as for you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal up the book until the end of time; many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”
5我─但以理觀看，見另有兩個人站立：一個在河這邊，一個在河那邊。6有一個問那站在河水以上、穿細麻衣的說：「這奇異的事到幾時才應驗呢？」7我聽見那站在河水以上、穿細麻衣的，向天舉起左右手，指著活到永遠的主起誓說：「要到一載、二載、半載，打破聖民權力的時候，這一切事就都應驗了。」8我聽見這話，卻不明白，就說：「我主啊，這些事的結局是怎樣呢？」9他說：「但以理啊，你只管去；因為這話已經隱藏封閉，直到末時。10必有許多人使自己清淨潔白，且被熬煉；但惡人仍必行惡，一切惡人都不明白，惟獨智慧人能明白。11從除掉常獻的燔祭，並設立那行毀壞可憎之物的時候，必有一千二百九十日。12等到一千三百三十五日的，那人便為有福。13「你且去等候結局，因為你必安歇。到了末期，你必起來，享受你的福分。」
5Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the stream and the other on that bank of the stream. 6And someone said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?” 7And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish smashing the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed. 8But as for me, I heard but did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?” 9And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words will be kept secret and sealed up until the end time. 10“Many will be purged, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. 11“And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12“Blessed is the one who is patient and attains to the 1,335 days! 13“But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will rest and rise for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”
