발등상
성경의 기물
발등상은 사람이 발을 올려 쉴 수 있는 가구였다. 이것은 발을 땅에서 떨어지게 올려놓는 낮은 받침의 형태였다. 아래에 보이는 것과 같은 애굽의 발등상에는 실제로 애굽 왕이 무찌른 원수들이 그려져 있었다.
