灯笼

圣经中的器物

灯笼是一种可以四处携带的小型灯具，有某种形式的防护，因此不受风和天气的影响。灯笼主体是圆柱形的，一侧带有开口，用来放入一盏普通的油灯。灯笼可用赤陶土制成；但罗马人也使用金属制成的灯笼，这种灯笼侧面用动物的角做成，呈半透明。灯笼通过顶部的环（或布条、皮带等）来提携。
