옥합, 옥병
성경의 기물
옥합은 방해석으로 만든 항아리였다. 이 항아리는 대개 목이 꽤 길었는데, 내용물을 쓰려면 목을 깨뜨려야 했다. 주로 향유 같은 값진 물질을 담는 용기로 쓰였다. 이런 항아리는 대개 작았다.
