祭壇是一種桌子或平臺，用來向神獻上祭牲或其他祭物。聖經提到幾種祭壇：
1. 用於獻祭的以色列人祭壇
（a）建在戶外露天地方的石頭祭壇，如《創世記》和其他舊約書卷中提到的祭壇。
（b）在帳幕和耶路撒冷聖殿中用來獻祭的祭壇
2. 作獻祭以外用途的以色列人祭壇
（a）帳幕或聖殿中的香壇，包括《啟示錄》中提到的供人獻上禱告和焚香的壇
3. 異教祭壇
