刑架和其他刑具
聖經中的器物
刑架是一個拷問的刑具。受刑者的雙手伸過頭頂，四肢伸展躺在桌子上。手和腳分別綁在桌子兩端的輪子或其他裝置上，這些裝置把四肢拉得越來越開，給人造成巨大的痛苦。受刑者被這樣扯拽的同時，可能還會遭受鞭打或其他方式的身體虐待。
