텔, 무더기
성경의 기물
텔은 잇달아 세워진 고대 성읍들의 폐허가 쌓여 생긴 언덕이었다. 성경의 땅에는 텔이 많으며, 그 가운데 많은 텔이 발굴되어 성경에 나오는 고대 도시들로 확인되었다.
