平臺、講臺
聖經中的器物
平臺是一個很大的拔高平面，可以站在上面向一群人講話。 所描述的平臺是銅做的，有2.5米（8英呎）見方，1.5米（5英呎）高。這個尺寸可作為上面全部經文所指平臺的近似模型，不過，其他平臺可能是用石頭（如插圖所示）或木材建成的。
