攻城坡道、攻城土壘
聖經中的器物
攻城坡道是一條道路，通向被攻擊城邑的城牆。設防城經常建造在高地上，難以靠近，並且撞城槌（參撞城槌 (battering ram)）非常沉重，移動困難。在這種情況下，攻擊者可以建築一條斜坡或道路，以便把撞城槌和其他攻城器械運送上去。
