磚模、磚窰

聖經中的器物

磚模：這是一種長方形的木製容器，不是很大，約20-25×10厘米（8-10×4英吋），用來製作形狀和大小完全相同的泥磚（參磚 (brick)）。

磚窰：這是一個大型室外烤爐，用來燒磚使其變得堅硬（參窰、爐 (smelting furnace, kiln) 中的插圖）。

用途

工人把黏土或其他製磚材料填充在磚模中。待材料定型後，再把磚從模具中脫出並在陽光下曬乾。有些地方會把磚放在磚窰裡面烘烤使其變硬。
