무화과 반죽, 무화과 뭉치

무화과 반죽은 말린 무화과를 뭉치거나 눌러 덩어리로 만든 것이었다.

쓰임

이렇게 말린 무화과 덩어리는 그냥 음식으로 쓸 수 있었다(말린 과일을 눌러 만든 뭉치 참조). 말린 과일은 오래 보관할 수 있었다. 때로는 종기나 피부에 돋은 것에 붙여 피부를 부드럽게 하여 낫게 하는 데 쓰기도 했다.
