Elijah's Sacrifice at Carmel

What happened

Elijah repairs the altar of the Lord with twelve stones, makes a trench, puts the wood in order, and prepares a bull cut in pieces placing it above the wood. He instructs four jars of water be poured on the burnt offering and the wood, and this repeats three times. Now the water runs along the altar and fills the trench.
